He's just doing his job, Des.

If Jude can't find a conspiracy in a thread,

then there must be something fishy going on!

Be that as it may Jude. Look how many different subjects you were exposed to, in this one thread alone.....

This is a multi-tasking thread, if I've ever seen one......

But the question remains lost...

Here is the one that I picked up.
It is perfect as it is just the wife and I.....and some 4 legged dish washers.

It takes up roughly the space of a large microwave and hooks up just like other portable washing machines.
It cost us about $250 USD.
Read some reviews and was skeptical but being a retired plumber I fear NO leak.

Had it for about 6 months and so far it is solid.
I like that I can do basically a half load and not waste any space, so no dishes sit in the washer for days waiting for a full load.

Could you please provide pics? I'm fascinated to see how this works.

Here ya go, Ghostie!

You'll have to ask g146541 (thanks, by the way) how it works,

but there it is and its quite beautiful.

It has an LED display.

Don't you agree?

That was my first double post. I have always thought, why waste a double post.

Since you paid almost nothing for it, put it outside and use it for other things like cleaning car parts, tools, stove tops, oven shelves or her jewelery. That would give her a surprise!

They don't just clean dishes.

Just do a little carpentry and instal it under the counter in place of a cupboard. Wait till she is out and surprise her. One of two things will happen.

She will treat you real special and you will get some. or

She will go frosty for a week or so.

It is just like tossing a coin, you win some, you lose some.

Hi Phoenix.

I like your double-post theory. Glad you had your first one here.

Good idea with the cupboard... I've been considering installing it somewhere....

You are right about the outcome of any surprise one prepares for one's better-half....

Only one thing is certain....

Or #3

You will be in trouble for taking the cupboard space, and hear for years what a bad job you did on the installation.

You can NEVER win.

True. It's probably a mixture of #2 and #3

Her favorite, but never used bit of cupboard space ruined and : frosty for a week.

Then, years later ......we have a totally unrelated argument...

...and the whole dishwasher thing comes up again....

...not to even mention the possible water damage from my plumbing skills......

...............

maybe not worth it...

That sucks

I grew up without a dishwasher so I was the dishwasher.

I have one now and I use it but mostly I hand wash the dishes. I prefer to hand wash them since I never understood the whole you must wash them before putting them in the dishwasher.

My point exactly.

Plus, a dishwasher uses harsh chemicals and destroys cutlery and funny motiv-mug designs.
