Des, Life isn't about having deluxe things, or it shouldn't be at least.

Yes, yes. In my many years of study, observation and interaction with the female kind I have noted this to be one of their more common tactics of asserting dominance and control over the male partner. It may come in a variety of forms, as DocHolidaze pointed out. Be alert and do not be surprised if you fall prey to it in the future. As of this correspondence, I have found no comfortable or satisfactory way to prevent or counteract this behavior. Hold fast to your manly spirit (never displaying it overtly) ...good luck.

*all tongue-in-cheek by the way

Don't sweat it sugar. She's probably just "riding the hormone super roller coaster".
This too shall pass as soon as she has to wash dishes after a big holiday meal- then she will absolutely LOVE it!

This happens to a lot of people, soon she's wishing she had an abortion for the 'dishwasher'... and... oh, an actualy dishwasher. Well there's your problem.

They make dishwashers that aren't under the counter?

Could you please provide pics? I'm fascinated to see how this works.

My parents used to have one, it rolls on wheels and it hooks directly to your water faucet.

here's one on amazon for like $400 USD

Portable Dishwasher

it appears they have a counter top dishwasher also for ~300$

After almost 20 years together, almost 17 years married and this is my second wife.

It's not the dishwasher she really wanted,it was the hole in her life left there by you not filling it.

So,if you don't figure out what that hole is,you are damned if you do,damned if you don't.

And,no,it's not the hole you are thinking of,my dirty little mind.
