I can remember a Russian President telling America a few years ago that Russia WILL take America without having to fire a shot to win WW3. I do think it's odd that Russia has moved it's Black Sea fleet out into the Med where it can prevent Europe being able to help USA if it's ships are destroyed in the China Sea, plus Subs from Russia & China are now in the Atlantic off America to stop help being given to Europe in an emergency, yes your right on this, Check Mate.

One can "check" an opponent with one strategic move but to "check mate" him requires supporting strategic moves to prevent the opponent/enemy from having a way out....I am sure that this has all been thought out and they are relying on our complacency with regard to Mutual and Assured Destruction (MAD) to have a successful first strike which leads to their victory (in their mind anyway....let's hope and pray that our defense dept can see all of this and be prepared for all contingencies).

Russian subs have always been in the Atlantic, but the Chinese are still learning to deal with long distance ops like being in the Atlantic. Source for that?

I have had similar thoughts about a way to draw our forces away from the US and then sort of have Russia & China gang up on us and such. Then I think about these next few things:
1) We are always putting our forces out some where around the world.
2) If we thought of this, our military planners surely must have as well.
3) What would China do when we are unable to produce a good portion of the grains and other food they import?
4) What will happen to the Russia-China partnership once we have been conquered? Which one of them will govern us? Will it be China west of the Mississippi and Russia East? Will they wind up sparring against each other over the spoils? Will their partnership dissolve into yet another war once they decide they no longer have common interests?

5) Will they find any measurable amounts of gold in any of our vaults to satisfy the debts?
6) What happens when word spreads here of their coming, I'm pretty sure a good part of the country, military or otherwise will be armed and not going down without a fight.

I say it is an unlikely scenario, but, in any event, one does have to take all things into consideration when planning for war.

That's why Western powers have fleets of nuclear submarines that stay underwater for months at a time. If the individual submarines don't receive communication from land after several attempts, they have the authorization to launch ICBM's. Even if the continent is fried, it's possible to retaliate.

Someone has been playing to much call of duty.......

But lets say china and Russia are willing to sacrifice N. K. For some greater goal.....what is that? If they EMP us that just devestates our economy. We then can't keep paying interest on debt. Not to mention our strategic forces are hardened. China and Russia could get wiped out, (unless enough people in our own government are in on it, which with the current admin loving socialist commies so much who knows).

Even if they tried to occupy us they would face the largest insurgency in the history of the world.....if 10% of the gun owning population fight back it's about 8 million. If 10% of the US population fight back it's 30 million. The Chinese might go for it with those odds, but that's still a long way from home to fight that large of an insurgency..

Better analysis , Kim Jr is an idiot and wants to play.....not realizing he will lose.

I'm american, but I'm in complete agreement with you. Don't forget about the CIA run illegal drug businesses around the globe. Fast and Furious - like anyone with a reasonable mind doesn't understand our gov't has been aiding and abetting these murderers - mexican drug cartels - for decades.

Unfortunaely, the american poloticians aren't the american people - I'm sure you could say the same a bout yours? You're in the UK?

I sincerely believe our current administration is orchestrating the downfall of the US, and the rest of the world - 80% of the world's population has to go - according to them. and the rest of the global banksters.

I also agree with you that my government & alphabet agencies even the royals have been involved in the drug trade and even pedophilia. I am sick of us people who have been treated badly. We all need to come together and never let the elites break our friendships. They want the people to be isolated and against each other so we need to act first before they do. Keep safe peeps brothers & sisters this year is going to be a test against the working class and disabled.

One problem with that theory is,you assume that the US would be in a weakened state(in a nuclear weapons capability scenario) should it launch it;s submarine based ballistic missiles against NK( these are trident systems by the way,not polaris!)
The US would still have an immense amount of continental US based nuclear ICBMs and air launched nuclear weapons available to hit any potential aggressors with, bearing this in mind,I do not believe that Russia or China(or both together even) would risk the devastation that would be visited upon them by initiating attacks on either the continental US or US interests.

You seem to think that the positioning of the Russian Black sea fleet in the med would mean game over for other NATO countries,I would suggest that the UK's Hunter Killer sub fleet would give the Russians quite a headache should it kick off,not to mention the RAF Nimrod anti submarine and harpoon armed aircraft.

You are assuming that a well placed and large enough EMP blast along with a coordinated cyber attack would not be effective. Let's hope that you are right!

Maybe most would follow orders and launch nuclear missiles from submarines not knowing what is going on but there might be other crews who would seek to learn the truth first (like that ABC tv show of last fall). What if NK and China knocked us out but Russia was neutral,,,,would it be wise to nuke Russia?

Could those Russian subs also be capable of firing nuclear torpedos in the vicinity of our nuclear submarines? Could those Russian subs launch nuclear missiles at the locations of our submarines also?

Dont the Russians and the Chinese have anti-ballistic missiles like we do? Even so some would probably get thru but then again I dont think that those countries respect human life (including their own people) as much as we do.

Gee wis.... You know the only actual worry the USA has is that it's populace has become completely clueless in it's world view.

You guys are mostly 20 years outdated... or more, in regards to the global agendas of these nations.

Russia and China are not out to destroy America lol

The goal is the regional blocking of the planet under the five permanent members of the UN security council, the only people being set up and "tricked" are small nations with the capacity to endanger the "NWO" for lack of a better term... the THREAT of the cold war became a global mission of stability over time... that is WHY we wax socialist while they wax Capitalist in tandem... we are all falling in the direction of ONE system... NK is screwed.

A nuclear missile would be hard pressed to take out a submarine at depth (they can go pretty deep). But either way, they have to find them first. The Ohio (until the Virginia) was the quietest nuclear submarine ever built. The only ones ever tracked were tracked by the US. One had a pump issue, the other had some tools left after a worker failed to perform his post maintenance tool check. Both were detected just off the coast of the US. One has never been successfully tracked while on patrol.

Even if they are detected launching their missiles, they fire, and almost immediately go deep, and hide. By the time anything gets to the area (including a missile), they're deep and dark again.

Russia has some anti-ballistic missile defenses around Moscow, but why use an ICBM when you can send a B-2 to do the job? Not all the B-2s are in the US right now, and Moscow is in easy reach of one from where they are located now.
