WHATEVER

You know honestly it just illustrates that both North Korea and Iran are retarded nations....

America WANTS an excuse to USE it's real toys and get away with it without facing reprisal from nations like China or Russia...

Any other way we move these 2 nations off the global scene we have to use men and bombs and most important to the Pentagon LOTS O MONEY

It's a Pentagon Wet Dream if these two side together launch first attack (particularly against others like Israel or SK) so we can end it in 20 minutes not 20 more years...

Why they are soooooooooooo stupid as to take the bait is beyond my senses....

The IDF will not be going to Korea. The militays of the Gulf states will not be going to Korea. In all what Iran could do for Korea is far less than they have managed to do for Syria. Thier are certain military realities and one of them is all Iran would do is make itself a target.

If Us gets engaged in two theatres at this point you will lose one of them....

Iran is finished if Syria is finished, It might as well join the NK because it won't be able to survive to join another war.

Are they wrong , the Iranians, that we Bully other Countries?

My greatest fear is that we , the Commonfolk of the US, will wake up one morning to Learn, Austin is no longer, or Norfolk, or Washington.

Bully other countries? If only it were that simple.

For the last half century +, we murder, rape and steal. We directly and indirectly support death squads. We seamlessly combine attacks on the battlefield (alone, UN, NATO), the banking arena and covert operations. We overthrow democracies and institute vichy dictatorships. We teach terrorism under the guise of "counterinsurgency" thru the School of the Americas (or whatever it's going by today). We directly carry out terrorism and crimes against humanity in the name of making the world safe for Central Banksters.

I must be perfectly honest, if I wake up tomorrow and Washington D.C. is gone, I will not shed a tear. Not one.

Both Iran and Korea are VICTIM nations.

Iraq was/is a victim nation. Sanctions are a defacto declaration of war. Countries without a massive war machine suffer in silence. If sanctions were declared against the US, we would be in war in a month or less. That's just the way this game is played.

We could work toward opening up all lands world-wide using commerce and tourism to break down barriers. Instead, TPTB want drama. They want conflict. They want big military budgets. They want death, destruction and and endless cycle of rebuilding.

The retards are in Washington.

I so fear the state of the world that we leave to our children. Iranian children, Korean Children, and American children are born the same way and know only love and life when they are born. It isn't until selfishness steps in do they start to argue over who's right and who's wrong and we teach them to give into that selfishness. I have done things wrong in my life that I have learned from and am very glad to say I have never hurt anyone other than myself. I think we should defend ourselves from those that would do us harm but not hurt the people that only wish to be left alone.

Just remember that China and Russia do not want nuclear war with us....they make too much money with us in the picture. They just do. They wont get drawn in...they don't care if we suffer a little though, but we don't have to worry about war with them. The second point is...well just forget NATO for a second and think of our closest allies if there was war with Iran and NK who would be right in the mix with us and what their capabilities are ...Israel, UK the two biggest ones. Canada, Australia most likely. Remember that SK has a formidable army of their own and I assume Japan would jump in right away to help stabilize the region. i think, that despite my assumptions, We're okay.

It's not a problem 'affording' a war, we're good. We, as in the U.S., we pretty much have that covered. The problem, with a 'war' with NK is, that technically, we, the U.S., are still combatants with the North Koreans in the first place. We actually don't need an 'excuse' from the good people of North Korea to begin exterminating them.
It's not a problem, we have the troops, the experience, the persistence, the only thing we don't have is a Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a Secretary of Defense, nor a Commander in Chief who have CLUE ONE about what THEY are supposed to do when the 'war' word starts flying around. Need proof? Ok, one word - Afghanistan.

I agree, Iran can't do squat but just the same old rhetoric that they always do. There is nothing there that would allow them to fight any kind war away from their home front.

You can be for Russia, Iran, or China etc but any country that backs that totally messed up country is way off base.

MMMMMm...... get where your coming from but not entirely fair.

The current agenda is not just the USA Globalism is Globalism for a reason, the UN security council consists of USA, Russia, China and France and England which for all intents and purposes represent the EU... if You then factor in satellite nations and those we have strong ties with, Brazil, India, Japan, Sk, Taiwan, Australia, Israel, Canada, Ukraine, Mexico, Argentina (forgetting about our squabbles in the past)

That's close to 3.5 Billion people... despite differences

A: dedicated to global trade

B: functioning within some form of socialist capitalist system and moving towards one another not apart

C: representing modern values or moving at various rates in that direction

D: Interlinked by banking systems and computer systems

The USA despite bs rhetoric at the UN is the Military arm of the UN....

This is NOT just United States policy making... in this case BOTH Russia and China signed on to these sanctions

Are Iran and NK "Victim" nations YES.... ABSOLUTELY. But its far from our hand alone, your talking about Dogmatic regimes taking it upon themselves to be capable of throwing off a globalized world by capacity and yet also not playing ball with the world on any level.... an obsessive Theocracy and a Marxist State neither of which will bend to a more global perspective.... America has the best Military MONEY CAN BUY, what we do, it's not our own actions per say... there isn't a person in here that isn't aware our presidents answer to higher powers these days....

With respect, there are many posters on A.T.S getting carried away with their madcap
notions of how the North Korea issue will develop. It won't...

Remind of this If I'm proved wrong...

I can't help feeling that some people on here would welcome war. I suspect the majority of them haven't experienced the realities of warfare, neither have I. I don't want to, It's not a game, people die, it is horrific..

I hope it never comes to your doorstep. Peace.

Just a thought, but doesn't Russia have interests in Iran? So if we go to war with Iran, won't Russia retaliate, or maybe step in for Iran somehow? It makes me wonder why the Russian fighters were really doing exercises against our missile defence systems not that long ago. Maybe one thing here has nothing to do with the other, but I guess it could be a theory......

I think that if Iran has decided to stand with North Korea they had better be prepared to FALL with North Korea!

They have no idea what the result of this game they're playing will be!

Seems to me that North Koreas' Mr Wei Tu Phat is sufferng from Lurgies Disease, symptoms of which are "Sudden Rushes of Sh1t to the Brain" and "A Constant Flow of Sh1t from the Mouth"
Unfortunately there is no known cure and death is inevitable!

Thanks for the link.

Iran won't attack first but they surely could mobilise their shii'te brethren in Gulf States and Saudi Arabia to drag in the US.

I find this whole situation depressing. I don't want to see nuclear weapons used on our planet. I don't want to see families killed or children vaporized. If NK did launch a missile then chances are the US could just shoot it down. Why does this have to escalate to all out war with a country that really isn't a significant threat?

How about we have Obama and lil'Kim just fight it out in a boxing ring or something? Most people just want to be free to raise their kids and earn a decent living. These governments are like two children fighting on a playground. It's just sad, ridiculous and pathetic all wrapped into one.

well with our luck one of iran's missile's will accidently veer off course and destroy kim jon dungs NK mancave.

If that was the case, then the U.S. wouldn't be quite so up in arms over their 'tests' or 'threats'.

I remember hearing somewhere that the CIA reckoned NK had 10-30 nuclear warheads? I'm probably wrong, though.

Yeah, I remember a report about Iraq having weapons of destruction too!

My thoughts are, and have always have been, on the current NK vs US issue are this: If it kicks off with NK and nukes are involved, the US will immediately attack Iran regardless of whether the Iranians do anything or not. This declaration in the OP just gives the US more reason to carry out an unprovoked assault on the Iranians.

This is(obviously) not good.

so... iran defends NK from americans, americans attack iran too, russia said that they will defend iran, russia fights america=apocalypse..?
