Israel is screaming for the US to handle Iran, NK could be a pawn in there pocket to such a goal

Can the USA even afford another war?
Maybe initially they could....but you guys will lose financially eventually. Are you prepared for sharp rises in living due to the cost of ANOTHER war or 2 (if you are fighting Iran and Nkorea)???

The world is watching, and i think we are mostly watching America, because they have a history of nuking populated areas, unlike any other country on the planet

I have been saying this since the beginning of this North Korea mess.......Because Iran and North Korea are allies, and our efforts to demonize and attack Iran failed, drawing North Korea into a pissing contest is a "back door" way to get to Iran.

Don't forget the 2009 Brookings Institute report, "Which Path To Persia", in which they investigate all the various ways of taking Iran down. This has been in the cards for a long time.

I'm almost positive that if we have to do anything against North Korea, Iran will get it simultaneously. This is a truly frightening prospect. We have been provoking NK for a while now, backing them into a corner. We just waited until the old man died, and this young whipper-snapper took his place. A young, untested leader. Perfect for getting him worked up and wanting to show his "strength".

Wow. Really? We have a "history of nuking populate areas"? Give me a break. Two atomic bombs in 1945 is hardly a history, considering how many battles we've fought since then. And both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were military targets, that had civilians living there. .

While a pretty terrible thing in our past, I wouldn't say US has a 'history' of dropping nuclear weapons. That's like saying Adam Lanza had a history of shooting up schools. Nope, just one event.

How are those NOT military targets?

Yeah, there are rumors of mini nukes at the WTC too, that doesn't make them true. But call them battles, call them invasions, call them what you will, if the US had a history of using them, we would have used more of them than two in 1945. We would have used them in Vietnam and Korea (as the generals wanted to), and probably in Desert Storm as well.

Yep it is true, The united states used nukes on Japan, over 50 years ago, AFTER they refused to surrender, it also saved thousands if not millions of Allied lives, and to be sincere our carpet bombing using incinerary bombs caused more damage and loss of life, then the atomic bombs...

So what is your point? Just hating on America?

But this could also slow down American forces. The force of Iran and NK combined, while it may not stop the US, could slow us down, especially with forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan. This in turn would allow many countries to see that NK and Iran could possibly win and join forces with them. Would our allies jump in quick enough to support us? If war was waged between us and Iran and NK, this could cripple america in the short term. and leave Iran with a bolstered sense of ability ( for lack of better terms).

Iran needs to sit down if it knows whats best for it,supporting a country that has all but been ostracized by it's allies is a stupid move imo,talk about addicted to the limelight.

No surprises here, I believe that when president Bush coined the term"axis of evil" the future nations that will fall into the crosshairs were announced a (Iran, Iraq and North Korea) we know the fate of one of them and it has been a bit messy to say the least, but this does at least give the green light for 2 birds with one stone since they are apparently allying themselves in the face of this wreckless rhetoric.

People have been saying that WW3 would occur since the end of WW2 - but, lo and behold, no WW3! And really, even with a conflict on the Korean peninsula, a world war will not occur - Iran will not attack the United States, how ridiculous!

You do realise that the United State has many allies, right?

That's why CHINA has to handle this.
