The suspect was finally arraigned on Friday, May 10, 2013. It doesn't sound like Quick has any memory of his attack, or was not fully conscious at the time. This guy is either full-on nuts or he was being mind-controlled:

"He told me and I can tell you guys this, that he is glad that nobody died," Quick's attorney, Jules Laird told reporters... But Laird said Quick is still coming to terms with what he is accused of doing. "I think he's still trying to figure out in his own mind what happened as far as he's concerned," Laird said.
