Idea for Group RV Experiment (suggestions and criticism needed)

Sorry about that, I didn't reply to your post because your suggestion didn't follow any recommended RV protocols. While it may be a good idea to confine any "major event" to just major natural disasters, that would overlook many important events and wouldn't be very exciting in terms of prediction, especially since there may not be any massive natural disasters during certain quarters of certain years. By covering any important major event we provide a larger window of possibilities and thus the chances of getting the predictions correct are much less (so if we do get interesting results it's much less likely to be pure coincidence).

Ok as promised the Mass RV website is now up and running.
But before making a new thread to announce this I want to do a trial run.
I also want to get proper permission to make a thread about it.
For now I think it should be ok to place the link here for the trial run.
As I said there's no adverts or trackers or anything, it makes me no money.
