Hello ATS.

Please take a look at this image from RT, the shadows in the floor and the scenery just does not sit right.

Shadows in some areas but not in others (Look at the soldier on the left hand side and the photographers at the bottom of the image. It just does not sit right.

Could this help those who believe NK doesn't exist, I call BS on that theory.......

But anyway.

Aside from the massive transport of, over-polished Godzilla movie-prop missiles, it's a postcard picture. NK has manipulated photos before see Did North Korea photoshop its hovercraft?

Hmm, that is what got me thinking about this picture. The hovercraft stunt was a clear joke, but of course Kim and his advisor's think its a good idea to implement fear.

Regards,

TOT

Good catch OP, their are a few odd things about the pic,
the guy in the brown uniform on the far left has no shadow at all,
while only one guy a few down has a shadow.

It looks to me like you stumbled onto the truth, NK using photoshop
to try to look more than they are.

I have to agree as well op, one would have to be mentally unstable to
believe that NK dose not exist. I'll grant them their are things about
them that seem odd, but they definitely exist.

It seems they are attempting to look like much more than they are, a starving populace and a regime that requires public support, cannot withstand.

Kim knows this, and is rushing to make himself known. Before his people shaft the inexperienced fool.

The soldier DOES have a shadow, you can see it, it's partially obscured due to the curb
The one photographer, however does NOT have a shadow

There is a large step in the scenery behind the reporters. A large hedge that runs along the side of the road behind the reporters. It may look like grass, but it isn't. And a large step in the concrete curb on the side of the paved surface.

Of COURSE they photoshop...they knowingly engage in propaganda...nothing new there.
They don't even seem to TRY and hide it to outsiders, but to the NK people, it will fool them, as they have no other info to go on.

the large flag above the building in the background looks iffy.

I don't think it's shopped at all, the shadows look legit to me......I think it's an image taken from this 2012 video.

This one seems to be taken around the same time.

Not only does he not have a shadow, but his photoshop also interrupts the white line.

Not sure what you are getting at with the photographer though.

I don't think it's a photoshopped picture either. If you look at this video linked by Argyll at the 9:25 mark, you can see the same vehicles drive by. It definitely looks like the same day and the same event.

The red arrow is where I think the RT Photo was taken, approximately.

They've been shown to photoshop many times before (most recently, the hovercraft one comes to mind), so hard NOT to assume photoshopping on anything out of there.

Nothing wrong with the image. This isn't an image released by the North Koreans but by international photographers invited to film the parade.

The photographer was Ed Jones from AFP.

Another image from the parade by Ed Jones.

Western news agencies and photographers were also invited. See following image taken during the parade and note the range of other photographers and agencies.
