It's hard to give an answer because there's not enough information to base one upon. The best blind guess I have is that you may be running browser add-ons that are inhibiting the functionality of ATS.

If you are running add-ons with your browser - turn them all off and then turn them back on one at a time to see which one, if any, may be causing issues.

Also check to see if you've got the most recent version of your browser. Normally this is a good thing, but if you've just upgraded - for example to Firefox 20, which just came out a few days ago - there could be some sort of compatibility issue or glitch that isn't yet fixed.

FTR I am on FF 20 and it seems to be working great... it was just an example.

I have the answer to this.
provided it only happens when you star and then refresh/reload.

when you star the url changes and when you reload what happens is you are starring that post twice (which you cannot do) thus the error.

example:
page 2 of this very thread the url is
added spaces in links


http:// www. abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread938495/pg2


now if I star the post before mine it changes to

http:// www. abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread938495/pg2&addstar=1&on=16198088#pid16198088

notice the additional stuff?
yep now if I were to refresh it would be the same as trying to add another star, which I can't since I have already starred once.

so if you want to refresh just delete everything after the pg# (the # represents the number whatever it is) and hit enter.
