I would like this to stay in this forum, I am not talking about the musical aspect of the post you post. I am talking about the meaning of the song as
you see it. Often I have seen a thread or a reply that I thought I could answer pretty good with a song.
Take for instance someone posting a thread on MIB, I often get the urge to post either the x-file theme or............
You can converse and really make a statement with a couple words and a song, or just a song. It won't be hard to respond to a reply either.
So I'm going to make my O/P song real easy to reply to . Hear we go the battle of the musical statements.
There that made the start easy.
Feel free to post your own conspiracy , or make your own statement with a song and a few words. This thread has no true topic. I only ask that you try
to reply with a song and a couple words if needed.
BTW first one to post "American Idiot" in reply to my post probably get's the most stars.
This one was about the gulf wars, but it still carries a timeless message and imo addresses the madness of wars in general, that we can't afford,
economically or socially, yet the leaders keep leading us down the path of war.

A respectful touche' man, but don't you think the ones that lead us into war should at least have served? Is the place the war has left us a good
one? I guess my view is the debt and lack of care for returning veterans kind of outweighs any noble intention we had as "liberators." I am not
one that thinks people should not serve and wars are never an option, but these middle east wars have left us a bit unravelled, imo, and the
propaganda used can be deceptive.
This lengthy song is about corrupt justice in which the money becomes more important than the truth. The song writing for the song is thought to have
been inspired by a 1976 Al Pacino film with the same name. The movie itself is about a lawyer who is sick of a justice system in which innocent people
get killed or convicted unjustly, while murderers and rapists are allowed to walk unconcerned on the streets. (Source:

Anybody who didn't know the lyrics might think it's from one of the ATS threads......................:
Do you see what I see?
Truth is an offense
Your silence for your confidence
Do you hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination, keep you where they must
Do you feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what you express?
Do you take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of forward seems to me absurd
Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say
Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech
Speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception
Do you fear what I fear?
Living properly
Truths to you are lies to me
Do you choose what I choose?
More alternatives
Energy derives from both the plus and negative
Do you need what I need?
Boundaries overthrown
Look inside, to each his own
Do you trust what I trust?
Me, myself, and I
Penetrate the smoke screen, I see through the selfish lie
Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say
Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech
Speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception
Do you know what I know?
Your money and your wealth
Your silence just to hear yourself
Do you want what I want?
Desire not a thing
I hunger after independence, lengthen freedom's ring
