In North Korea you don't need to break a law to go to prison, you only need to be a supposed enemy of the State. Do you think if the ruling party there considers you a threat that all you need to do is get a good lawyer and you will get off or do you think you will be eliminated regardless of your guilt or innocence?

Umm, speaking out against the North Korean Government or its leadership is breaking the law.
Yes, it is a silly law, like a lot of the victimless laws people break in our country as well that get sent to prison for it.

The only thing sensible people take away from all this, is they learn who they should stay away from.

People frothing at the mouth over the prospect of a war?

Beating their chest on how great their country is, compared to one of the worst?

Yea, you guys have it great!

Pro-tip: Stay away from these people, and if you have children, I wouldn't keep them around. They are never sensible, and are the most easily controlled, most psychologically unstable people currently in America.

Thanks for letting us know how much you adore your Communist host. Speaking of GMO foods, I hear dog is a specialty in N Korea. Do they have special Internet accounts for people who believe in their dear leader?

edit: In one of your post you said you hailed from Korea but refused to say which side, then continued to blast the US for the large numbers of people in prisons. Then it turns out you live in the States. Could you expound on why you hate the US so much and pine away for the Communism of Korea but still live here?

Yes, you'd need a gun to harm me. This is why countries pursue nuclear weapons; without them they would be powerless against a tyrant nation with nukes.

If you didn't have a gun, however, you would think twice about assaulting a person with a gun.

Having nukes and threatening to use them are completely different things; if I possess a gun am I threatening anyone? No. If I tell you that I'm going to shoot you with my gun I am threatening you.

A gun and a nuke are two comparability different things. One causes millions of dollars in damage, not to mention environmental effects, Nukes can kill people long after its detention. Im sure you have seen the videos of Nuclear detonations, do you think anybody survives that kind of detonation?

A gun, they can kill, and have killed way more people than nukes ever have, over hundreds of years. Although dealing death with guns means means there are two sides, one side may survive or the other or both.

dealing death with nukes means immediate none existence with the push of a button. If you were to go to war would you rather be part of a gun war, or a nuke war?.

With all Americas nukes placed strategically all around the world, the other world leaders know we pose a threat everyday.

And no i dont think the act of possessing a gun is threatening. I will tell you this, I personally keep a mental note of the people i know have guns, and the people in my neighborhood that i know have guns. I wonder what kind of notes that other countries keep on americas nukes, i am sure they have that note from ww2 about the 2 times america used nukes as war tactics, and just as the radiation lingered at the places American abombs were dropped, so lingered americas continuous threat as a nuclear powerhouse.

A gun and a nuke serve the same purpose: deterrence. If I have a gun, and it's known that I have a gun, I am less likely to get mugged/assaulted/etc. If I have a nuke, and it's known that I have a nuke, I am much less likely to be attacked.

We have nukes, but we don't threaten to nuke countries.

Nukes served as more than a deterrent during world war 2. America didn't need to nuke japan to win the war, America choose to send out the word to the rest of the world that america has nukes and will not hesitate to use them, and proved that statement when they dropped nukes. sounds like a threat to me, a threat made once, and still stands everyday.

I am facing 99 years in federal prison, I did not commit a crime, the officer almost shot me and my significant other in my house. Accidental discharge but to cover his ass and the cities ass, I am a suspect who attempted to kill him when I only opened my front door.

You must be privileged, it must be nice eating fabrege eggs and escargot topped with beluga caviar.

I don't have to link anything because you would just ignore the links to voice your windy opinion about nothing.

In america you don't even have to commit a crime, just be accused of one.

Here's your reality check that doesnt' apply to you because you obviously exist above reality.

Bahahahahahahahahaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You know why America has such a high incarceration rate?

Because freedom gives you the freedom to be a jack ass and not everyone can resist that.

Truth be told... their is an unfair aspect to it... the system gets more complicated over time due to constant litigation and when you combine an irate judge with a system that is complicated enough to where without a serious degree of caution you can very easily make a legitimate mistake and get busted... well that's a problem worthy of address

but come on

99 years?

LOL

You purposefully ignored something.... or worse.

As a side note, I thought I would comment on the difference in prison systems....aside from the fact that there are over 300 million souls in America and a little over 24 million in N Korea. (Your statistics did not seem to take into account the difference in overall population).

Here's a quick snapshot of prisons in N Korea

According to many organizations, the conditions in North Korean prisons are harsh and life threatening.[1] Prisoners are subject to torture and inhumane treatment.[2] Public and secret executions of prisoners, even children, especially in cases of attempted escape are commonplace.[3] Infanticides (forced abortions and baby killings upon birth[4]) also often occur. The mortality rate is very high, because many prisoners die of starvation,[5] illnesses,[6] work accidents, or torture.

The internment camps for people accused of political offences or denounced as politically unreliable are run by the State Security Department. Political prisoners are subject to guilt by association punishment. They are deported with parents, children and siblings, sometimes even grandparents or grandchildren without any lawsuit or conviction and are detained for the rest of their lives.[13]

The prisoners are forced to perform hard and dangerous slave work with primitive means in mining and agriculture. The food rations are very small, so that the prisoners are constantly on the brink of starvation. In combination with the hard work this leads to huge numbers of prisoners dying. An estimated 40% of prisoners die from malnutrition.[15] Moreover many prisoners are crippled from work accidents, frostbite or torture. There is a rigid punishment in the camp. Prisoners that work too slow or do not obey an order are beaten or tortured.[16] In case of stealing food or attempting to escape, the prisoners are publicly executed.

Yep, sounds like the old Soviet Communist gulags to me. And apparently people can be imprisoned for political opposition, which is a classic Communist thing.

Then there's the reeducation camps.

You haven't figured out the socialists here in America long ago lost anything original to say or think or do.

They continue this circle of insanity where they believe that keeping the same well worn circular path will eventually take them someplace they've never been.

But, you know what.....someone has to live in the ghettos and under the bridges and next door to the welfare offices. It's a Phillip K. Dick world out there. The good old Karmic Wheel of Life thingy.

If you've personally escaped the socialist myopia, be thankful. Maybe you lived an incarnation where you are being rewarded in this lifetime.

Yes, and since then we have not nuked any country. I don't think we needed to nuke Japan either, but the destructive power of nuclear weapons had to be displayed sooner or later and I'm grateful that it was sooner than later; modern nukes make WWII era nukes pale in comparison. It should also be stated that nuking Japan effectively took them out of the war and helped bring WWII to a close.

Warnings, threats and any hostile indicators might stop you from attacking .I want you to try so I can eliminate the threat once and for all.I don't bully at all I smile and say "hello" so you can be at ease.I am as good with a knife as I am with a gun, frighteningly fast too.But of course you would just see a fat old man. If you are a normal person you would smile back if not maybe you're having a bad day if you attack me I can do whatever I want to you.

Perhaps a grain of true in the so called "antiamerican" threads?
Never thought of that or you cannot take a bit of criticizm?

Yea.. it's so brutally terrible in America, I don't know why we don't just all waltz off to NK and live there instead.

In NK, if you choose to leave the country, they can and will imprison your entire family. You can leave this country without ramification whenever you like. NK is nothing close to the U.S. You sound like one of those freaks that flip out because someone tried to dance at the Lincoln monument where dancing was not allowed, forcing themselves to get arrested, so they can then scream out what a horrible, unjust country we have.

I also have a feeling you are being dishonest about the entire "99 year" thing. I kind of think you -might- just be leaving a bit out of that little fabrication of yours.

No country is perfect. I also get sick of the hatred that gets spewn about this country on a regular basis around here. Of course America has issues. Of course the President and the government are far from perfect. No country has the miracle leadership some people seem to think exists somewhere. But there is plenty of great things in this country.

It's like I said about that moron who got arrested for dancing at the monument in Washington. Instead of dancing happily and freely 99.99% anywhere else in the U.S., he dances there to force himself to get arrested - because he can't focus on what is good, he has to force people to find things that are bad. He and people like him only see the worst in this country. They don't appreciate the freedoms they have. Many countries you could never post things like I see posted on this board EVERY day. In some countries it could land you in prison. Or even get you shot or hanged.

Grains of truth is perhaps right. Because all countries in this world have their share of issues. But there is also a lot right about this country. Enemy of the world? MANY countries would be much worse off if it were not for the humanitarian or protective efforts of the U.S. Sure some countries hate us - but you know, the countries that do hate us typically have leadership run by dictators and tryants. If that's what the OP means by "enemy of the world," I'm ok with that.

You ARE anti-american and if you say you're not, you're a liar. I don't mind your pointless talk but to back it up with a full out lie is pathetic. To compare the conditions of the U.S. to North Korea is asinine and I don't even know why i'm replying to such garbage.

Should I show the deplorable situations in America? In the rust crust of middle America? It looks like a warzone in detroit and chicago filled with dilapated structures and crime rampant.

The starving school children of America?

The homeless and poor?

What is your 1 video going to show me that I haven't seen in America?

You're ignoring the same situation on our soil in America.

I live in Chicago and I love it... Granted, there are the dangerous neighborhoods, but to act like the whole city is falling apart like Mogadishu is just plain wrong. Chicago is a great city, maybe we have crime, maybe we have corruption with our politicians, but its still a city i love...

In USA, I can choose the job I want, I can get an education, I can get meals, I can walk freely, talk freely, and act freely. I'm not sure if everyone in NK could be able to say the same thing...
