I'm sure most of you have read about the texas chupacabra that was recently shot. If you havent, read about it
here
I'm pretty amazed no one has noticed this. But in the 1700's there was a beast that terrorized the district of Gevaudan(lozere) france, from 1764
until 1767. Here is a picture of the beast
Now compare that picture to the photographs of the texas chupacabra. They look exactly alike. I think that what SWomack found wasn't a chupacabra,
but the same species that the Beast Of Gevaudan was. What do you guys think?(btw, I have a website that i started yesterday that im not near done
with, but it has information on the beast of gevaudan and the texas chupacabra, can i post the link without getting this post deleted?)
So, is it just me, or...what?

Texas Chupie was a wild dog. The Best of Le Gevaudan was most likely a hyena, or a pack of hyena's. Probably escaped from a Menagerie.

Actually, there was a film made about the Beast of Gevaudan called 'Brotherhood of the Wolf' - I won't say what it was because I don't want to
spoil the surprise for anyone who hasn't seen it - but when I first saw it I saw the spines on its back and thought 'Chupacabra'

Of course, that's a movie, and has nothing to do with real life.
Not too mention the iamge you psoted is a much stylized version of the Chuppie. It in no way is suppsoed to depict what it 'really' looks like.
Anyway, didn't the wolf turn out to be nothing supernatural or weird at all
scroll down to read-
From what I heard (haven't seen the movie), it was just a lion with crap stuck on it.

True. It was a film, and a very good one to boot. The pic was from the Coast to Coast site originally.

The similarities of the creatures appearance in the drawing, and of the two creatures pictured deceased, would be tied together if victims in Gevaudan
had similar wounds to those that have supposedly been attacked by the Chup'.
I thought in Gevaudan they were torn apart and whatnot, and, if it were a big pack of those beast's of Gevaudan then they would have surely been
sighted on the move? Right?...
I don't know, I do think the creatures look alike, both dead and drawn.

What would a wild/dead or alive dingo be doing in Texas
I can see that this Texas 'beast' is different, but you have to take into account,it is rotting and most likely losing features and weight.I will say
that it may be a wild dog,but one I have never seen.
These 'all-of-a-sudden' chuppies we keep getting reports on are indeed strange, but untill they get one dead and take a look at it under a microscope
and can determine what it is,or get one live and see what it is,it/they may just be an inbred dog.
Going from a the looks of a mythical creature to that of a dog like animal is turning out to be a real bummer.People labling these dog like animals as
'thee' chupacabra may lose focus on the supossed 'real' deal that may be out there.
I much rather want to see the 'sonic the hedgehog' looking creature than an abandon 'mut'
Just my thoughts, not that they matter
