What's your evidence of that? The world is more secular than ever, and moving in that direction at an increasing pace.

The delusion, for example, that Seventh Day Adventists hold that the "Mark of the Beast" is worldwide forced Sunday worship is completely laughable now. Maybe it looked like a threat in the 1920, but it sure isn't now.

So, if you're thinking that your little cult is going to come to the attention of anyone who cares, and be persecuted, that's never going to happen -- both for the reason that your theology is of no consequence to anyone, and because all churches are declining in authority.

Anyone who reads your posts on here is going to see how irrational your claims really are when put to the test, and anyone who reads Reckart is going to see little more than an angry old man who rants against anyone who disagrees with him. He also refers to his struggle with sin in the present tense in other places. (Romans 7:14-25)

We because his flesh wars with his spirit just like all of us. My point was directed specifically at his comment that he saw himself as the "chief of sinners", which he chose to label himself not for any present sin of lifestyle he had, but because of what he had done before conversion.

He says this himself, that it's because he persecuted the church.

I agree that your point on these verses is valid. I had forgotten about the Jews casting out demons. There is also the man in Luke 9:49-50 who drove out demons in Christ's name, but was not a follower of Christ.

The context of the Hebrew Christian epistles, especially Hebrews itself is that the temple was still standing in Jerusalem at the time of it's writing and the Jews were under intense persecution from the Jewish authorities. There was a strong temptation to stick with Judaism to avoid persecution and either be a Christian in secret or convert to Christ on a person's deathbed. That's the context of the letter.

It's about pressing on to spiritual maturity. And the author is making the point that there is no longer any sacrifice a cspted by God for sin, Christ is both the perfect and final sacrifice.

Unless you are a Jew in Israel and from one of the 12 tribes you have nothing in common with the coming 144,000 except a faith in Christ Jesus as the Messiah and Son of God.

Yeah. 150,000 Christians killed in persecutions today, compared to one guy 500 years ago, when they'd burn you at the stake for disagreeing with almost anything, great comparison.
