So who here doesn't see the historical reference to Nazi Germany through the eyes of the brainwashed nanny state liberal? Because honestly, it's becoming more and more clear every damn day.

UK Column has some interesting information on this phenomena. It's reached epidemic proportions in Britain. There's also some interesting stuff on suicide rates amongst teenagers and what might be causing it. All scary stuff if true.

Idk,this is a short clip,so i cannot get the full context of what she was trying to get across.To me it seemed like she meant the "it takes a village to raise a child" type sentiment? Not that your children do not belong to you anymore,as in:They can be "confiscated" by the state or your community at any time-but that people should look at children in general as our future,and care about the education and welfare of All children.

Maybe i got it wrong,but i will have to look at this some more,see what she is about in general,before i comment further.

This just happened the other day. These kids were taken from their parents because they found a very small amount of marijuana on them and when the parents have a normal human response to protect their children, the media outlaws them as anti-Government criminals.

The state does, can, has and will take your kids for whatever petty charge it can come up with. And now, days later, we see this woman talking about how these kids belong to the "collective" or "community". This is America, not Nazi Germany.

I'll be honest, when you compare the modern liberal to the people that worshiped Hitler before ww2, there is a striking resemblance. You may be right in that progressives are behind most of this, but the liberals and the brainwashed public that literally see Obama as the 2nd coming are scary to witness.

This sounds more like a fascist/totalitarianism way of doing things, not a liberal way.

I think we are becoming socialists, little by little.

My kids came home yesterday to tell me how they learned to
barter at school. They made things then traded to get what they wanted.

Not make things people wanted then learn to sell it, and how to haggle.

It is just kids though maybe teaching trade, and not capitalism wasn't the
goal. Just having fun, so I'll over look it, but if my kids come home saying
they learned how great socialism, or communism is. The fights on.

What is at all the same between a liberal of the 1940's and the liberals of today?

As for the topic, children should be raised by a community, with the help of everybody, since we all have a vested interest in raising a proper next generation.

Clearly the state owning your kids is nonsense, and this sort of rhetoric is extreme, but then again so is the way this article is presented. Infowars is notorious for making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Do we really need to straw man this video (and thread) because it was posted on infowars? That is literally what you are doing here. You are trying to say that our evil ears are lying to us because Alex Jones broke this story. Ignore the article completely and listen to the woman speak, it's obvious enough what she is saying.

As for the Hitler, just listen to the man speak and watch the reaction. The man didn't walk out on stage and initially start saying he was going to create a pure Aryan race and kill Jews. It gradually built up to a breaking point that the world refused to put up with. We are seeing history repeat itself in my opinion.

Children aren't actually "owned" by ANYONE. They are people and as such, have rights in this country. They are not belongings.

I understand what MHP is saying and don't have a problem with it. It takes a village to raise a child. And the child will be healthier and happier if it's respected and raised as a PERSON; a contributing member of society, instead of a belonging.

I'm not going to try to explain what she said because clearly, some think she's Hitler. But I see nothing wrong with what she said.

Not at all, I simply pointed out that infowars as a source is bound to include rhetoric and is written in a way that sensationalizes the story. The same as any MSM.

This article is just Infowars spinning a non-issue. They change the wording to make what she said worse than it is.
If you watch the video without reading the infowars article first, it's obvious she wasn't saying anything sinister. If you think what she said is bad, you're probably one of those brainwashed people I was talking about.

This is why you shouldn't read Infowars. They are skilled manipulators that will have you outraged over nothing.

I think people are exaggerating and taking what she said out of context. Kids don't belong to the state anymore than they belong to their parents. Kids are kids and everyone plays their part. I don't like the current education system though and the misinformation it teaches. I also don't like to have to pay an arm and a leg for college/university tuition. I don't like the outrageous difference between blue collar and white collar pay and the lack of respect given to blue collar workers.

We have to start thinking more in terms of the collective regardless of what the "elite" want. Just because the "elite" have a warped sense of collectivism aka neoliberalism, does not mean every form of collectivism is bad/wrong. Just like not all forms of capitalism is bad either.

When are they coming to get them because it's spring break and I have had enough of them.

Considering O'Reilly has the leading numbers on television (that includes all television media by the way), I'd say yes, he is very vocal when it comes to conservatives or the GOP in general. That doesn't mean you should get your information from Fox News, simply that, of the television media, O'Reilly is literally King going by viewers.

But see you still think this is a Republican vs Democrat thing. This isn't a damn football game, we are not choosing a team here. You should be listening to and voting for people based on who can do the job instead of who has a D or R next to their name.
