North Korea has said it cannot assure the safety of embassies in Pyongyang after 10 April, and has urged Britain, Russia and other European nations to evacuate diplomatic staff amid soaring nuclear tensions.

Countries across Europe on Friday reported receiving a letter suggesting they pull out of Pyongyang, as an increasingly bellicose North Korea moved two mid-range missiles to its east coast.

"Their communication said that from April 10, the North Korean government would be unable to guarantee the safety of embassies and international organisations in the country in the event of conflict," a spokeswoman for Britain's Foreign Office said.

Number 9:

The second Kim is said to have repeatedly stressed the fact that his birthday fell on 16 February (1+6+2=9). He decreed that the numberplates of his vehicles should read 2.16; and then, so as to disguise his personal vehicles, assigned this as a common numberplate for all of North Korea's inner elite.

Kim Jong-il was appointed to the highest military post on 24 December (2+4+1+2=9). His appointment as party secretary, which effectively formalised his powers, was made three years and three months after the death of his father, Kim Il-sung.

Applying this to recent North Korean history, we note that Kim Jong-il gave his son, Kim Jong-un, his first public role as general of the Korean People's Army on 27 September 2010 (2+7=9, plus the 9th month, equals double nine). On 11 April (20)12 (1+1+4+1+2=9) Kim Jong-un was appointed first secretary of the Workers' party. Then on 18 July 2012, he was appointed to the rank of marshal.

When North Korea makes international news with an impending rocket launch or nuclear test, outside analysts often cite recent birthdays of the Kims, or other state anniversaries, as influencing the choice of date. But a closer look suggests it has more to do with the number nine.

The country's first nuclear test took place on 9 October 2006. The second long-range rocket launch was on 5 April 2009 (5+4=9 and nine of 2009, double nine). The next one was successfully launched on 12 December 2012 (1+2+1+2+1+2=9). There was a nuclear test on 12 February (20)13 (1+2+2+1+3=9). A recent North Korean propaganda video released on YouTube, in which the east coast of the US is consumed in a "sea of fire", features a rocket labelled No 9.

It's funny how you're not the only one saying it's all just "hot air," especially when it wasn't more than 2 1/2 years ago that North Korea shelled a South Korean island. Just 4 months ago they tested the world by launching a satellite, just this February they conducted a nuclear test. They've closed down the all joint operations with the South, declared war on the South, continuously threatened the U.S. with an attack on its mainland. What more do you need to see that they're testing reactions, they want to be attacked, they're pushing it. If they're not given what they want, what makes you think they won't get tired of waiting and do what they have to.

Too much has gone down the passed few weeks for everyone to turn around, come to an agreement and act like nothing happened. There will be a war, and until then the tensions are staying high and both sides will go back and forth through intimidation and threats..

Not funny just realistic , this whole situation is being created by Kim for internal reasons , a right of passage if you will .

Again hype , they are still at war with the south as no peace treaty was ever signed after the Korean war , it ended with an armistice .

but one specific number of dates, which you say "9" is incorporated, is april19th(also my birthday), and April 20th.

i remember one specific date Waco Texas April 19th. ironically it ended in fire,

April 19th in the spring equinox of the Satanists, is meant to be a fire sacrifice. a blood sacrifice to the beast.

We invaded that country because they seen an economic benefit for doing so.

What does N Korea have? They dont have any oil or poppy fields..

The US isn't worried about their nukes

I think they are talking a little much and actually getting into a bad way if they don't receive food assistance.
I think that they will be tossing the blame at these other countries and that will put the anger into the civilians and make it unsafe to be at one of these embassies.
I think it will be that first before they blame their dear leader.

Why would China or Russia want to seek nucleur revenge?. How would either country find that advantagious?. And considering both already posses the tools 'revenge' could have already been achieved. Of course it's always best to set someone else up to take the blame and whose better than an ignorant dictator with more power than brain. But still I can't think of a reason why either would wish this. The US, China and Russia need each other, collectivly, and when push comes to shove will remain allies. North Korea isn't controled by the Kim family and thei controlers wont let it happen. There are much bigger plans unfolding infront of the world as they are blinded by , as Anderson Cooper called it, 'The North Korean Conflict'. How do we know their really is a North Korea-US threat of war?. Could this not be just another roose diverting mass public attension away from whats really happening? I think so. Do you?
