Either that, or they are studying Chinese so they can get across the border when they need to defect.

By the way where did NK get its rocket sattelite technology from?

What space-faring nation borders them? Ah...there you go.

Ahh defection is such an interesting thing. I remember when I went to the USSR in 1987, I actually asked a young Russian girl in her early 20's what she thought about Mikhail Baryshnikov's defection to the US. We made such a huge deal about it, if you're old enough to remember. She didn't even know that anyone had defected from the USSR and didn't believe me because she didn't think it was possible. I always thought that information dichotomy was really interesting. Those generals probably do know they could defect and it points towards their probably enjoying an immense amount of power in North Korea because they aren't defecting. Probably wouldn't do it unless that power shifted away from them. To me, that rather points yet again to Kim Jong Un being more of a figurehead along with these obviously silly photo ops.

The captions should read more of "This is the pen my father invented"...

"Oh look, a tree my Father created in his biology lab."

"What's that? A floor? Before my Father was king of the world everyone walked on sand..."

And so goes the leadership of crazy...

These pictures highlight the danger that a person undergoes when he or she becomes a "Very Important Person." I think it happens to all celebrities, not just the Kim Jongs of the world.

If the monks stopped at your yurt and told your parents that you were the next incarnation of the Dalai Lama, the same thing would begin to happen to you.

Do you think a man could be driven crazy by being surrounded by experts, who lie to you constantly and who insist that every little comment of yours was "right all along" and "remarkably prescient, in light of later events."

I think it happened to Barry, to W, to the previous pope, to J. Howard Marshall, etc.
