Do meteors count as confirmation bias?

Confirmation bias (also called confirmatory bias or myside bias) is a tendency of people to favor information that confirms their beliefs or hypotheses

Do they count as confirmation bias if the Wall Street Journal shows an article the next day with picture of the Chelyabinks meteor with an article below that starts with "Global BT"

You bet. I would post more incidents, but I think there is no point in listing every disaster that I think is related to this as it would probably just hurt people. Tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires, earthquakes.

I figure you get information out there with a couple of major incidents and get the message across and then keep quiet because people don't want to hear about every past incident, especially if it has cost lives.

It's like a double edged sword. You hurt people by sharing the information, but if you don't identify what it is, then the stuff keeps happening.

If you identify what it is, then people can change. But you have to hurt a few people in the process of revealing it. Which is unfortunate.

On a final note.

Maybe some didn't understand why the word "Tea" in BT or Bee Tea is related here.

The word tea sounds like the letter "T" and a "t" is the shape of the wood that Christ was nailed to.

I am wondering what the message was?

Still not getting it,

I am formulating my own understanding but cant exactly tie in everything you have supplied.

Are you saying that this info will be used by people who are making claims of the end of the world or mind control and this is confirmation of their claims?

I wasn't trying to say the end of the world was here. Not by any means. 20, 30, 100 years, who knows. Catastrophic events have happened from the beginning of time to the end. And usually these catastrophic events have localized effects like in Chelyabinsk. I was trying to give people an idea of one of the sins that is serious enough to if they fail to repent that will result in murder.

However, what is appropriate behavior for a 15 year old is not appropriate for a 40 year old. What is 30 pieces of silver for me is not 30 pieces for someone else.

It's one of those things, to those who know what is sin, then it is sin.

It's all a matter of perspective. Which is why I am guessing that not all people go berserk at once. Some have a history of abuse which would cover and justify their ignorance. Others do not have that excuse and get judged rather quickly.

But one of the main problems I see is that many professionally educated psychologists cannot identify why some person loses it. But another person can engage in the same exact behavior and not exhibit any hostility or departure from the norm. One person is older the other younger. One has a history of abuse and victimization and another doesn't. One is baptized and older and another is not baptized.

Is it the only behavior that results in murder. No. And do all people who engage in it lose it. No. A 15 year old can get away with things that God will not tolerate from a Comet of a Man.

And I think it is important to identify it. 15 year old girls should be able to go to the mall without getting shot. Or to college classes. And if we can identify the reasons, or various behaviors, not just this one behavior that result in people departing from norm so severely that they will take up firearms against their neighbors, then maybe those who have achieved older age and rank can exercise self-control without expecting it from their juniors and subordinates in their families.

The end of the world. I don't think so. People choose to be faithful or not. End of the world. I mean is someone hasn't adopted the faith, a college student, should they stop going surfing and chasing beer and women as long as they are careful not to leave pregnancies running around. I think God tolerates a lot from us. As long as we use judgement and as we age mature spiritually.

Who said you were?

I have completely lost you with your reply.

I just asked a simple question about your thread and if you were insinuating that events such as the ones you mentioned would be used as some type of confirming evidence by people that make such claims such as the end of the world.

Like for example, the fire ball in Russia a few months back could be used by a person who made a claim that the world will end with increased comet activity and this event is clear evidence of this coming soon.

That is what I understand from your thread and if so I agree, if not sorry for the confusion.

No. Given that this meteor event was related to two videos I had in a blog confirming the existence of God a few years back, I'd say that this isn't the end of the world and that this was a carefully planned divine warning about engaging in unlawful felony internet behaviors, and how that can result in how he killed his wife and then sons.

Why send multiple meteors when one meteor can send a warning that will cause people to correct their behaviors and their ignorance? And then when people change God doesn't have to create more havoc to keep people in line.

I don't want to destroy the integrity of this thread, but, here goes.

Timothy Maat, Muskegon chief assistant prosecutor, said the videos -- which were filmed on April 9 and 10 -- show Merfield, 21, in a meeting with a person she thinks is a hitman she has hired to shoot her husband.

So this was GOD warning about engaging in unlawful felony internet behaviors,

could you maybe give an examples?

Who killed their wife and sons?

The earth is bombarded daily by 1000 of meteors, why do you think 1 meteor would mean anything in a religious sense?

Because of the two videos I had a in blog a couple of years back that relate fairly directly to the meteor event. I only had a half dozen videos in that blog, how is it possible that two of those videos out of a half dozen relate directly to this meteor.

How is possible that I come here and post on another guys thread speculating about what the image of the beast is and that it relates to several murders and a meteor strikes that week? What are the odds? Especially since I had not speculated about that at any other time on any other forum.

Until then I think that a lot of people were thinking that downloading felony sexual material like child porn was simply a matter Chris Hansen saying "Hold there, have a seat".

It's much more serious than that for someone who is not a child or a sexual abuse victim to do engage in that.

1. Felony downloading of child porn sets an example for your child if you have them that could destroy their futures.

2. It manipulates brain cells to be conditioned towards felony sexual conduct.

3. It is a doorway to child abuse.

4. Sexual abuse of a child is murder. Many a murderer was a sexual victim. The people really guilty for those murders are their abusers who violated them sexually. It's murder by proxy.

5. Therefore any behavior which predisposes one to engage in sexual abuse like downloading of child porn is just about equivalent to murder except for a child who engages in this behavior.

I think that it's really a matter of how old you are, and your past history, for example I think it would be normal for a sexual abuse victim to develop a temporary curiosity. Although, I think even they can be held accountable for their actions once their ignorance of the law is enlightened.

And how many people come to this forum. If they don't then they won't know other than what the law dictates. If they don't know then they can't be held accountable by God until they are made aware by a religious leader or inspiration, but will still be accountable to the law. Unless they have a religious leader who advises them. Some are aware of the law and some aren't.

But maybe that was the purpose of this meteor was to get the word out. I think that a forum like this which can be translated into many languages could be useful for spreading the information.

What are the odds that I would get a Ubee modem and then within a week while I was at a coffee shop the Amber alert went off and a woman would abduct a child 100 miles west and her license plate state started with BEE separated by a space and three or four numbers?

What are the odds that microsoft would produce a OS system called Windows and the very week I speculated that the imaged of the beast in the Bible is child porn and a meteors hits and takes out a bunch of Windows? I've never speculated it before. What are the odds that someone would come up with image hosting and file hosting names like "Filesonic" and "ImageBam" before a meteor takes out a bunch of windows? What are the odds that the two videos I was referring to : one depicts a downward air blast destroying stuff on the ground (A scene from the Chronicles of Riddick movie) and the other video was a music video by an American band filmed in part in Chelyabinsk.

Finally, Someone here posted an article that said Spectrum can predict someones future behavior. Take a look at Google Chrome's Icon. It's not Chrome or Silver. It's almost like a spectrum's colors. Then think of that lady abducting that child.

I got that wrong I think. Spectrum.

I think the article said PRISM can predict one's behavior. But of course a prism refracts light into a spectrum.
