Secret Service Framework Being Set Up To Arrest Sheriffs Refusing to Enforce Unconst. Gun Laws

Colorado, and apparently Texas (next) are being targeted with an attempt to set up a federal authority framework that will enable Secret Service agents (not just those guarding the president), and others of the U.S. Secret Service including uniformed division officers, physical security technicians and specialists, and other ‘special officers’, to arrest and remove an elected sheriff for refusing to enforce the law (or anyone breaking the law).

The bills being introduced defines law as including any rule, regulation, executive order, court order, statute or constitutional provision.

Why are they doing this? Here’s why…

It would establish federal authority police powers in a State, enabling an enforcement arm reporting directly to the president (the Secret Service).

It would potentially lead to enabling the president / executive branch to theoretically override the actions and preventative measures that are now being taken by many States throughout the country who are trying to preserve 2nd Amendment gun rights and who are prohibiting the enforcement of unconstitutional law passed by Congress or pushed by executive order.

As some of you may know, a growing list of sheriffs (more than 340 so far) across the country have expressed that they will not enforce a Washington mandate that clearly violates the Second Amendment.

Oh please, Mr. States. Only Daddy knows what's best for you and all your constituents. Doesn't matter that you would prefer to follow and abide by the constitution. Nope. The Emperor must have his way.

So Mr. Sheriff, nice that you tried, but it just wasn't enough. When the feds come swooping in and arrest you and your staff, who do you expect will prevent that from happening? Ha. Good luck. You're screwed, Mr. Sheriff. Try to fight them and you'll get a C130 firing explosive rounds at you from 5 miles away if they need to. Or heck, they won't even get that personal anymore if you put up a fight. They'll just drone you, bro.

Awww, come on, never had a hellfire up the ying yang before? And maybe they'll light up all your official vehicles and offices with a nice bunch of depleted uranium rounds, just for good measure- and just to keep all your future babies emerging looking like monsters from the blue lagoon. Yeah! Now that's a GREAT idea, there!

Sowwy, Mr. Sheriff. Too little, WAY too late. You let them have all the big guns, and now they are gonna toast you from central command. Wahaha. Got a buddy or two in the national guard in your state? Better call em. Cause this is about to get ugly. Real ugly.

I have many problems with this. How will they arrest someone for speaking out against a law that has not passed. At this point in time it looks like the only way any anti federal gun laws could be passed is by Executive Order.

If that order is in direct violation of the Constitution. It is not legal. At that point wouldn't they have to suspend Habeas Corpus to arrest people ? If that happens, there will finally be a common ground between the left and right. I would not want to be the man on top when common ground is found between all parties.

Here is some fun with wikipedia and a little word replacement. It sounds more and more plausible as this presidency continues.

The Secret Service (English pronunciation: [ˈʃʊtsʃtafəl] ( listen), was a major paramilitary organization under Barack Obama and the Neo-Nazi Party. Made up with previous Secret Service agents to provide security for the President of the United States. Under Obama's leadership (2008–Present), it grew from a small paramilitary formation to one of the largest and most powerful organizations in the free world.[2] Built upon the Nazi ideology, the SS under Obama's command was responsible for many of the crimes against humanity during (insert future conflict).

Just replace the nazi SS with secret service agents. They even have the same abbreviation for crying out loud

Having a president appointing his own goon squad to arrest law enforcement for not following unconstitutional laws is a little naziish.

I think if they actually do something like this they are idiots! As soon as they started rounding up the first batch of sheriffs don't they realize that other sheriff's and police departments would come to their defense, especially in states like Colorado and Texas? There are far many more members of sheriff's and police departments than secret service agents. The feds would have to bring in the military, which could end up bringing down a civil war situation. Our "fearless leader" is a moron!

My brother is a federal marshal in Colorado.

His idea of gun control is using two hands.

Period.

Well OP, you obviously didn't live in Canada during the 70's when the Almighty Turdeau tried to turn Canada into Cuba North.

Same thing.

That guys "legacy", is still being felt in our pockets today.

Now his son thinks he can run on his father's coat tails and further the Liberal cause.

Is it only a coincidence that the Liberal colors are "Red and White", and that a Liberal Prime Minister made our flag colors the same as their own in the 60's?

Makes one go hmmmmm.

I live in Texas, and I truly feel this would be a grave mistake by the "SS" and their leaders. Texas has 254 counties, more than any other state in the union. Hence, Texas has 254 Sheriff's spread out over 268,820 square miles. This would be a logistical nightmare, not to mention the MILLIONS of guns and gun owners the Sheriff's would be able to call on in an emergency situation.

I think the "SS" should find a smaller state to pick on.

Lol, I wish they would try.......

I jus moved to texas from indiana, I am not personall vested in texas, save for my kids being here. I will stand with the county sheriff over a fed any day of the week, over any issue on the table.

The folks of texas have already shown me the vakue of this state and its values, they are worth fighting for.

I think beezer said it best when quoting his brother, "gun control is using both hands."

These being ATS of course no one has bothered to read the bill. Whomever wrote the article also did not read it, is lying or is just an idiot. It is spelled out in very clear english below so I do think I need to explain it. I know the harsh glare of reality takes away from the fun but, you people just take anything people tell you and run with it.

THE SECRET SERVICE AGENT IS A PEACE OFFICER IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:
11 (a) (I) RESPONDING TO A NONFEDERAL FELONY OR MISDEMEANOR
12 THAT HAS BEEN COMMITTED IN HIS OR HER PRESENCE;

14 SHE HAS PROBABLE CAUSE TO BELIEVE THAT A NONFEDERAL FELONY OR
15 MISDEMEANOR INVOLVING INJURY OR THREAT OF INJURY TO A PERSON OR
16 PROPERTY HAS BEEN, OR IS BEING, COMMITTED AND IMMEDIATE ACTION IS
17 REQUIRED TO PREVENT ESCAPE, SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, OR DESTRUCTION
18 OF PROPERTY;
19 (III) RENDERING ASSISTANCE AT THE REQUEST OF A COLORADO
20 PEACE OFFICER; OR
21 (IV) EFFECTING AN ARREST OR PROVIDING ASSISTANCE AS PART OF
22 A BONA FIDE TASK FORCE OR JOINT INVESTIGATION WITH COLORADO
23 PEACE OFFICERS; AND

7 (3) UPON EFFECTING AN ARREST UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THIS
8 SECTION, A SECRET SERVICE AGENT SHALL IMMEDIATELY SURRENDER
9 CUSTODY OF THE ARRESTED INDIVIDUAL TO A COLORADO PEACE OFFICER.
10 (4) THIS SECTION DOES NOT IMPOSE LIABILITY ON OR REQUIRE
11 INDEMNIFICATION OR CREATE A WAIVER OF SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY BY THE
12 STATE OF COLORADO FOR ANY ACTION PERFORMED UNDER THIS SECTION
13 BY A SECRET SERVICE AGENT.
14 (5) NOTHING IN THIS SECTION SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO EXPAND

Maybe the sherriffs should get together and arrest certain attorneys general for not enforcing federal immigration and election laws. They actually might be met with greater success.

There is no reason that the fed can pick and choose which laws to enforce and a county or state cannot do the same. In my opinion all are guilty of treason, unless the law is of course uncontitutional.

This really make me think to sucker the population to look and focus over where >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

while I steal your wallet and your car and the deed to your house .

many distractions in the usa and people fall for it hook line and sinker , worry about your guns and not about the economy that is tanking , seems people care more about their guns than about where the country will be financially in 5 years . For crying out loud your country has to borrow money to pay it's bills , other countries are more or less being held hostage because if america defaults countries who own your treasuries will find them to be worthless .

Not only are your government stealing from you but they steal from every country that does trade with them but refusing to pay back their debts .

I say screw america stop trading with them there are other markets in the world whom have money and actual things to trade with than an IOU

So in other words you have not bothered to read the bill either. Because if you did you would know that this has nothing to do with Sheriffs other than the fact they can request assistance from a SS agent if they are in the area where before the SS could not help. It also says if you are being beaten to death in the front of SS agent that they would have the power to arrest your attacker and turn them over to local law enforcement instead of now where they would they could only call the cops and wait. Do you people really just buy anything without the slighest idea that maybe you should see if its true before you run with it?

Anybody find it odd that Secret Service abbreviation SS spells the same as Nazi's party troops, the Schutzstaffel? Seems like the idea behind them is similar too:

The SS grew from a small paramilitary unit to a powerful force that served as the Führer's body guard

And yet, in the face of this kind of reality, the government denies it is seeking to create a police state and those who are politically bound to the current administration, deny the obvious in the name of their brand loyalty.

While the government and its pet media continue to paint those who would stand against such actions as being anything from white supremacists to gun-laden survivalist nuts, the majority continues to ignore the obvious while that fully owned media continues to allow it to happen without speaking a word.
