The Day That the ATSSHTF:
Upon realizing that my beloved ATS was down, I quickly found everyone at IIDRN. I liked it there, but, it was hard to chat with all of the lost and
suffering souls there. Some were obsessively clicking refresh, some were searching out proxies, some were adding layers of tinfoil to their hats, and
some were so bad off, that they rocked back and forth in tears (I won't mention any names, but, the mascara? It was running.)
I then proceeded to bust out some cookies and began to lure people to the dark side.
'Its okay, guys, you can come out now. Have a cookie.'
Before anyone knew what happened, people started revealing their usernames. As it turns out, these were all actual, for real people. I know, I know..
it was a shocking revelation.
ATS Downtime was eventually created and in no time at all, there were 80 of us there. Lost, wandering, freaking out about the timing of ATS going down
coupled with North Korean threats. I have never seen so much tinfoil in my life.
Everyone kept asking if Bernard was behind it. Some wondered if he finally had a full on Schnitzel attack. It was possible, but, never confirmed. No
one had a source for it. We all decided that if there were no pics that it obviously didn't happen.
People were forced to go to
actual news sites to get their news. I know, I know... I was shocked too. Most of them had no idea that these sites
could be accessed without first being posted in a thread. They were terrified by the direct exposure, hence all the extra foil.
Then, magically, ATS came back online. Everyone suddenly started running towards it. And, some didn't make it. We lost some good men out there, women
too. *sniffle*
It was all really quite traumatic.
