It well publicized that some examples would be made in the first year and they were, but - that was then.

Evidence?

You're being disingenuous. You said they were not enforced. I gave you evidence that they had been and you now say, okay they were enforced for a bit, but now they are not. And again you provide no evidence.

As I'm the only one who has actually done that, and it contradicts your claim, why should anyone believe you?

my daughter lives next to one of those No Go zones on one of those links.

The only evidence that these are actual "no go" areas comes from a biased right-wing source! Everyone else says they are just impoverished zones subject to special fiscal measures.

I'm sure they have problems of crime and poverty. But unless you can show me some sort of official acknowledgement that police don't enter the areas, that they are literally run by gangs, then I think you're making it up.

why do you feel they should be able to break laws (like covering the identity in public) that the others in this country cannot?

You are unable to show that they are allowed to do this. And I contend that they are not.

Please don't pretend I'm saying things that I'm not. I fully support the French state's right to enforce its laws and as far as I can see they are. You telling me that they are not isn't really persuasive.

These stats have been well published everywhere, though the latest dates of studies are from before the flood of immigrants from countries like Egypt and Syria in turmoil. So we can be sure they are too low.

But just from Wikipedia alone-

fr.wikipedia.org...

These statistics don't back up what you said at all. Why is it that anti-immigrationists have to make stuff up all the time?

You said

"30% of the total population under the age of 18 is arab immigrants"

But neither of your quotes back that up. So why did you say it?

Apparently they were not the ones I am talking about.
I have had to work next to one of these No Go zones.

Which don't exist.

Or, to be more charitable, which you somehow cannot prove exist.

When they had a marriage in the neighborhood, it was traditional that they shoot off guns- and there was always a few Kalichinikovs- those are illegal in this country. It is only through illegal activities that one can get them.

It sounds like you live in Helmand.

Seriously, I don't believe you. Sorry. I also don't believe your house was bombed. I'm absolutely willing to be proved wrong, although that will require some evidence.

Reading this again, I realize I didn't get around to pulling up links for "proof" (not that any would convince you) . I guess I don't feel like trying. I welcome you to continue believing there is a huge conspiracy, to make the world think that France has struggles within concerning it's Maghreb population.

I don't think that. And if you put up some evidence I would consider it. So far you have been unable to do anything except make assertions.

Yet a different message from Turkish EU Minister.

Islam is ‘Europe’s reality’, says Turkey’s EU minister
Responding to recent controversial comments by French far right politician Marine Le Pen, Turkey's EU Minister Egemen Bağış said Monday that "Islam is a reality for the European Union" and Europe against "burying their heads in the sand". By Hürriyet Daily News (text) Islam is a reality for the European Union and Europeans won’t get anywhere by burying their heads in the sand, EU Minister Egemen Bağış said yesterday.

“It is Islamophobia rather than Islam that is visible in France and across Europe,” Bağış said, referring to French far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s recent statement that Islam was “more visible” than before in France. “We know Ms. Le Pen’s statements on Turkey and our values but we don’t care too much."

If you read what he actually says, he isn't making the call to arms that the headline disingenuously suggests. He simply points out that Islam is here to stay in europe and that mischaracterising it is pointless.

Islam is the ultimate religion for the poor people, the average joe if you will...And as the world economy goes deeper and deeper down the drain so Islam becomes more and more attractive to the masses eyes. The only way to stop this is to reverse the economical and spiritual status quo....That's if the elites really wish to do that!

Oh boy another the Muslims are taking over thread. They are going to out breed us and take over.
The question the op should be asking is why do Europeans hate sex?

Europeans don't hate sex! they hate the huge cost just living, let alone providing for children would you give up your auto, holiday abroad, nice cloths, shoes, good food, so as you can have a family? From what I have read, some Muslims just do not understand the concept of 'enjoyment' apart from what they seem to do mostly (children,) their religion is drummed into them even more that Catholics, another religion trying to out-bread Christians, back on topic, Muslims live 10, 20, 30, to a house, even share shoes, the beds never get cold, or the shoes, every bit of money they can, gets sent back home, or is used to buy the house next door.
I wonder if this rant will survive the mods?
One instance of the cost of living, The Brits pay $2.18 per Litre, 4.5 litres to a gallon=$9.81 so that's why they buy auto's with small engines!

More weasel words. "Supporting" a demonstrator is not necessarily the same as being a "hardcore islamist".

I think it is fair to call the 1 in 8 British Muslims who support those calling for the death of those who criticize Islam 'Hardcore Islamists".

• 1 in 8 British Muslims support demonstrators who call for the death of those who insult Islam

ICM Research

Interestingly,

• 1 in 8 American Muslims polled believe that Muhammad's critics should face the death penalty.

And yet for nine years the race war has stubbornly refused to start. Despite your best efforts

I would be happy if young Muslim males just stopped going abroad to be trained by the Taliban.

British Muslims fighting alongside Taliban, commanders claim

MI5 has estimated that up to 4,000 British Muslims had travelled to Pakistan and to Afghanistan for military training

British Muslims have become a mainstay of the global 'jihad'

I don't, especially when the poll is 7 years old. I mean, obviously I don't agree with them, but I tend to think of a hardcore islamist as someone who is actively involved in advancing that goal by violent means. I wouldn't have called an IRA sympathiser a terrorist thirty years ago either.

My point is that people who are against islam seem to be engaged in a constant attempt to twist evidence and numbers (usually rhetorically) to support their claims. When one actually looks at the data being used it tends to be more nuanced.

So would I. But given that the inner cities have stubbornly refused to erupt into a full-on muslim conflagration after all those years, I fail to see what you're so worried about.
