I noticed something on ATS forums lately and in local news.

The thought pattern have been reduced to caveman level
there is a evil that is growing on this planet, the lust for war and destruction
again and again I see ATS members reply they are very excited and cant wait to see whats going to happen
and some start a sentence with "would it not be funny if" when speaking of nuclear war.

I know humans have a natural force of curiosity.
But the way people are drooling thinking of millions of people getting pulverized, mutilated, tortured and hunted

They are truly giving the face of the human race a twisted and evil one.

Why this perverse lust for evil is growing.. I can only guess

Lost touch with reality, everything is just like a action movie
Simply love seeing other people suffer and celebrate they are not
People are bored and hope something happen.. may it be WW3
It is our destiny to destroy our self, and we want it to happen

I like to add:
How does the future look like if one of these "nuke trigger happy kids" get the seat of control

For me it is not the lust of war or destruction, but the order, peace and progress that follows after.
This world is broken and corrupt and our current system works in such a way that current and future leaders are molded into corrupt and vile people as the traits of sociopaths are highly rewarded in our world.

We need a reboot if we wish to prosper ecologically, spiritually and live in harmony with one another.

Right now however there are millions if not billions of people being brainwashed to accept and keep this system alive all for the sake of individuality a fancy cars sexual exploitation and lots of dollars regardless of the inhumane conditions other people are living in to support this lifestyle.
People are artificially coached into lifelong debts starting at as early as the moment of conception.
We spend billions of dollars to send a robot to mars looking for water while there are plenty of people still starving and thirsty on this planet.

I have long been of the opinion that ALL people no matter how ignorant or brainwashed should have the opportunity to rise up and meet their full potential if needed with a little bit of help and war should be avoided at all costs, but researching different religions like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, they all share a common theme of a coming armageddon/rapture/liberation followed by a savior that will only save the ones that have taken the oppurtunity to liberate themselves.
On the path in my own spiritual journey I have slowly changed my mind on the subject and am now of the opinion to cut of a limb if it is diseased and not let the rest of my body suffer for the sake of one diseased limb.
And a large part of this world is diseased and is not very different from a cancercell, similar to what agent Smith said in the Matrix. Even though he represented the bad guy in the movie his words held truth, I just do not share the opinion that ALL of mankind should die.

Mankind is persistent and resourcefull and we will surely survive a nuclear blast or even several.
Should my family and friends be among the ones to die I will mourn them but understand that this is what is needed to survive and prosper as a whole. And should I be among the dead the same still holds true.

We as humanity are going in a downwards spiral and it is not getting better with each generation getting less intelligent, more in debt and more dependant on technology and even worse, more accepting of their situation.
Unfortunately I do not see an alternative to bringing down the entire building, we need to demolish it for a new and more stable structure can be build. I do welcome any progressive ideas though.

Same reason why people looked forward to the Olympics false flag, the 2012 doomsday,...

This world is #ed up and it keeps getting worse, except for the people that keep making it a #tier place every day. They dont deserve what they've got and theres nothing anyone can do about it, so might as well hit the reset button while thats still an option.

Not a fan of this either, but whats the other option? Continue giving up liberties, continue having to be a loan slave to survive, continue to dream of a community life thats long.out of the dimension of possibilities?

Its #ed either way, I think its pretty naive to go around pretending that if we survive this one, everything will be fine, it will not, it'll never be fine again, if we ever even had fine, that is

But you needn't worry! It wont happen. The system has long taken over control and you have to be a fool to believe ww3 is an option for tptb. Perhaps that is why some want it, after Un is gone there's little ways out left but totalitarianism, and I fear that where it failed in history its going to be a great success this time around, people want it.

I gotta admit when I first clicked on the link to this article it was the word porn that caught my eye.

Clever girl.

Back on topic, everything you said is true. So many variables to the equation but i think the main one is mass psychosis. The world is going mad and they don't even know it. Try this experiment, stop talking half as much as you normally do and listen to the insanity of the world. Granted there is a small minority of people trying to bring some sort of sanity to the world. But how much longer can they Last.

The human race could go either way at this point. Exciting time to be alive but also very dangerous. Stay positive if you can but also realistic. Quality post OP.

It's nothing new, throughout history humankind has encouraged violence. It's in are nature to be violent and destructive. We hunted and wipeout are only relative species the neanderthal enough said. The downfall of mankind will be us in the end.

No it isn't our nature to be violent and destructive - it has to be taught. Survival more often requires cooperation and constructive behavior. You must remember that the history we are taught in school is the history of war and destruction, we are not taught about the history of creative and beneficial pursuits.

Kim Yong Un is still playing with his toy soldiers in the playground.....

However, how many times can NK keep 'crying wolf', like Un's daddy and grandaddy before him before the west say enough is enough and just go in anyway?....that's the difference I feel this time, and for the first time in 40 odd years, NK's verbal diorhea has got me a tad concerned. What better way to 'cover up' a global monetary meltdown than with a good old war?

Short story of mine: In high school there was this one guy who always threatened/bullied me. For months this had been going on. Occasionally, there would be a day or two off but eventually it would start up again. One day he said some things and shoved me. I punched him square in the eye socket as hard as I could. This act didn't start a battle to the death, in fact no teacher even saw it happen. He was out of school the next 2 days and returned with the remnants of a huge shiner. Everyone else knew what happened as a few other friends saw it and being high school made its way around pretty quick. Guy never bullied me again, we actually made amends and were pretty good friends after that.

North Korea needs punched in the face one good time. By a nuke? No. Maybe just send Team 6 in to take plump little grand soverign guy out.

In this story however the U.S. is the bully and NK is swinging around their arms in desperation.

Simply because people are fed up with their life and if something bad happens it takes them out of their current life.

Typically these people have all their needs met. I say this because people who have no food or shelter
have to find a way to fulfill those needs so they do not have time to think of such rot.

First world problems.

I do not wish for war or violence to break out. Wishing for that is stupid and retarded. If you have such thoughts I pity you.

I disagree, I'm pretty sure that are history of violence out weighs are history of creative and beneficial pursuits, I do respect your opinion though

I disagree with both of you..I don't see people drooling to start a war but how many threats can one nation take...I get how Israel feels...many of us including me thought that Israel should show restraint when being threatened by Iran but now that the shoe is on the other foot I'm getting upset...you can speculate along with others that Korea will not do anything but how long can one country make threats until they do what they have been saying all along.

Nobody truly wants war unless they are profiteers from war but you can ignore North Korea all you want but something just does not seem right about this situation....people can get upset that other people are saying level North Korea but in reality public opinion means nothing in this arena. If the pentagon and the CIA feels that there is North Korea is going to launch then there is nothing your or I can do...I would expect some type of strike before the winter if this keeps up...I have not heard much from our government, NATO or the United Nations around what steps are going to occur and that worries me.

The very last sentence of your op is a thought similar to thoughts I've often had...

Why do you think they will not unleash "free energy", antigravity, and other wonders? Because the power is too destructive to trust a bunch of uneducated maniacs with it... Yeah, its kinda "their" fault that we are like this, but it doesn't change the fact that we, or our parents and grandparents and so on allowed it to happen, and either way, they will not trust us with something that cannot be controlled. With unlimited free energy, not only can they not bill you per kilowatt or whatever, but they cannot tell HOW MUCH energy you are using and for what. That's why they won't let you into the New Age, or the New World, or New World Order, unless they can control your every move by implanting a chip or nanobots or something so they can flick a switch and render you unconscious, temporarily paralyzed in certain body parts or the whole body, or even kill you if they deem it necessary. Hell they can probably enter a command to make you report yourself to the local jail or police station without your input... You will just drop everything and walk straight to whatever location they want, just like a robot.

Chaos Control stay in the middle of this bar or suffer

We humans love logic and being in control, our human brain does this
But its not only laws, material objects and weight we like to dress up in logic and controlling
Its everything including people, so now our leaders do what we all do in our daily lives, controlling.
This have been escalating ever since we evolved to humans

Its the logic, its more easy to control a puppet then a impulsive free thinking entity

I am just going to make an observation....

I keep seeing the word elite tossed around (I suppose meaning the people, in general, who are the movers and shakers, who control wealth and power).

Many of the elites are just people who are smart enough, were in the right position and had the drive to make something happen. I applaud that...

One made a comment regarding elites not getting their hands dirty and rebuilding...actually, without those who have drive, who have the smarts, nothing would get rebuilt.

In any society, in any culture there are leaders, there are doers. Inevitably there are also those who are jealous of their accomplishments, yet lack the drive and intelligence to do such themselves. They would rather sit around and blame the "elitists" for all the woes of society.

I am sure somewhere there are those who are content to supp at the teat of welfare and unemployment...sitting at their computer blasting away at the "elite" instead of making a serious attempt at finding a job, starting a business or just plain getting off their ass and becoming successful.

I lived in a 3rd world country where the communist party openly offered the wealth of the ruling class to their followers should they take control. Heady stuff that....take away from those who may have earned their wealth and position and give to those who haven't. Thankfully, most people believed that should the communists take over, the distribution of wealth wouldn't change, just who controlled it.

It's not just limited to nukes and WWIII. I don't know what it is, but you give people a little bit of power and they want to use it desperately.

I suppose it's some combination of alpha male, mob/herd mentality, and survival of the fittest (but what do I know).

I see it all the time in a lot of the threads. Even when it's something as common place as gun control. You put a gun in someone's hand and they desperately want to use it.

People seemingly wistfully talk about "defending" themselves from criminals or stopping a corrupt government in some sort of freedom fighter rebel fantasy.

You get a mob of people together and something happens that makes them feel invincible and want to conquer others.

You give people an army or a nuke and they just want to beat their chest and use their power to smack someone else down.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely?

I dunno man... Live by the sword, die by the sword I guess.

I'd like things to be done in a more civil way. A lot of those dictator types are holding onto power by a thread. There has to be a way to just let them quietly fizzle out. I just hope the same can't be said for the US. I'd like a little stability in my life.

You could probably offer to help Kim Jong Un out and make his country prosper and turn an enemy into an ally.

If it's a good business deal both parties feel like they've screwed the other one.

Well said! Human nature and all that it entails....

You give a group of individuals the ability to control others, they will eventually abuse that power... even if it is nothing more than an experiment involving students pretending to be prisoners and guards.

It takes exceptional people to have the power, and then abstain from using it.

In the case of gun ownership...I think you overstate the situation. I have guns but do not lust to use them. It is my right to possess them and I will exercise my right. I would rather have them and not need them, than need them and not have them. I have never pointed one of my privately owned weapons at anyone, and I hope I never do because if I should feel the need to go that far, then I will be prepared to use them if necessary to safeguard myself and my family. It has been years since I even fired them....

I think some people are confused about exactly what it is others are getting 'excited' about when all of this doom talk starts happening. Some people are simply tired with the way things in the world are currently working. They have lost hope that change will happen without some massive catastrophe that forces it upon mankind. In my opinion, they are not rooting for the destruction of mankind, but simply for it to change in to something better then it is now.

I just wanted to chime in that in the thread that was directed here, the op was calling out people as psychopaths.

Just to point out, 2 members (ex now I guess ) of ATS have done mass shootings....see you learn something new everyday.
