Unprecedented military contrails over Vancouver Island today

Hey all. Just got back from golfing, crappy score but from 1pm (pacific) till aprox 4pm I witnessed more air activity than I've ever seen in this area. By a long shot. Wish I had my camera, counted aprox 27 military heavy-lift jets go straight over (Mid Vancouver Island) Heading to Alaska I'd imagine. Contrails spanned the sky and actually took the sun out of the picture after a while. I'll blame that on the score. Unreal! even my buddies (who aren't on ATS) were like.. wth is going on?

Korea, via Alaska no doubt. I can imagine you will be seeing more of this soon if our crazy leaders don't come to terms the the town brat/bully wannabe. Would have been cool to have had a picture though. Cheers

Not too far inland from you and my blue skies went to hazy in minutes. Trails started and the sun just disappeared within minutes.

Dude it was non-stop crazy for sure! And thick billowy buggers as well, definitely American, not Canadian C-17s.

Super noticeable and heavy over most of Alberta today and yesterday (drove 1100 km round trip).

Beautiful, still day...but con/chemtrails really noticeable...

Here in Courtenay I couldn't stop watching it. had a job interview a city over this morning and was walking the dog later and it was just noticible out here in a nice, almost grid pattern too. My girlfriend even noticed it was odd and all she knows about chem-trails is tin foil hats. They are still doing it as of a half hour ago.

I thought they were B52s headed for Eilsson in Alaska.....
They passed over Nanaimo as well......

Well, I just logged on to start a thread about all the military aviation traffic flying over the Pacific NW in the last couple days, but it looks like I'm not the only one who's noticed.

I am in the 98223 zip code about 40 miles north of Seattle. Yesterday the activity was almost non-stop. Today I noticed it more this morning between about 7 and noon, and at lower altitudes for some reason, but it seems to have tapered off since.

I'm assuming this is a re-positioning of assets to brush back NK -- at least I hope that's what it is and nothing more.
