Now 87 - 77.

Some polling booths are staying open late to get through the long queues generally associated with third world countries.

according to fox news, its 74 to 74. the funny thing is, from what i see, the states that kerry's supposed to win are the exact same as other sites such as cnn, however, it according to fox, theres 4 point less there. can anybody explain this or is fox news just horrible at math?

I noticed the same thing, Alien. Perhaps Fox is just being more cautious, although they didn't hesitate to show polls from gun owners and military families. Keep the results pouring in everyone, this thread is easier to monitor than all of the tv channels!!

Exit polls are not an accurate way to call an election.. Look what happened last election.

You are trusting the people being asked to tell the truth and it is only a small sample of the actual voters.

I say wait until it has been called by election officials one way or the other.

But what the heck do I know?

actually, what I see is Fox consistently calling states earlier than everyone else and calling them for Bush. They had bush at 87 for 30 minutes when the rest had him at 66. Now he's at 103 when the other stations say 87....must be that fair and balanced thing....

In NJ Bush got 50% of the popular vote and Kerry got 49%, yet 15 electoral votes went to Kerry.

Not hardly... your exaggerating greatly... I am watching Fox News and they are running about even with all the othes. All the networks are being very cautious.

Yahoo has it backwards, it says Bush had 50% and Kerry 49%

Here is the link again.

Scroll down to see it.

It's been fixed I believe, check again, they have the correct numbers now. Seems to be a problem with Yahoo.

Ya, I checked again and saw they changed it to what you were saying.

Bush has for now 6,797,793

The electorals haven't changed yet.

We have a team of people feeding vote information before it is posted. Each person using independent news outlets. Personally i'm covering CNN and CBS online with my editing being assisted by Trickmastertrick watching NBC & MSNBC.
