with 66% reporting, New Hampshire is still too close to call.

Kerry 50%

AP is Reporting that the Republicans have maintained controll of the Senate:

WASHINGTON - Republicans renewed their grip on the Senate Tuesday night and reached out for more, capturing Democratic seats across the south. Democratic leader Tom Daschle faced a strong challenge in South Dakota.

Republican victories for Democratic-held seats in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia assured the GOP of at least 50 seats in the Senate that convenes on Jan. 3. Under complicated rules in effect, that assured Republicans of control regardless of the outcome of the presidential election
victory by President Bush would give Vice President Dick Cheney the ability to break ties. A victory by Sen. John Kerry would force him to resign his seat in Congress, and give the GOP a 50-49 advantage until his successor was elected in late spring or summer.
GOP Retains Controll Of Senate

If the leaning states lean the way they are leaning now and Alaska goes Bush and Hawaii goes Kerry.

Bush will win 284 to 254

My personal projection update:

Bush win by rougly 10 to 20 electoral votes.

Frankly, I will be surprised if Kerry wins.

They're incredibly slow tonight. They're still refusing to call PA.

It's late and I have a meeting tomorrow morning, so I will be leaving the board for now and check the results in the morning.

I was covering Yahoo News and Fox News.

Students are still voting in Miami. 90,000 absentee ballots from Miami Dade alone still to be counted. Biggest counties not all reporting.

BlackJackal - How current is your map?

One thing we should all remember is that there should be quite a bit of voting scandals, which may alter the election. Something this close is almost guaranteed to have them. So the results tonight are wishes. Not absolutes. What happened to Bush could happen to Kerry.

I'm still hoping it turns out like this... Seems like it will, with only NM being contrary, but still isn't settled there, and went to Gore in 2000....

Thus, even with losing OH and FL, Kerry could still win....
