Was ATS hacked?

I just finished posting a reply to a message and I was sent to this page:

Apparently its some anti-bush website. Pretty bizarre though.

I would lookout for spyware on your machine.

maybe there's a mistake in the code for ATS??

I just checked and it was clear. This is what happened:

I typed the message, clicked post reply and instead of getting the 'Your message has been submitted' screen, I was just whisked away to that nutty site. Weird.

Did you have any other windows open?

Could it have been a pop up from another site?

I have a decent pop-up blocker on my comp. I literally clicked 'back' and I was back on ATS.

No, that's a browser hijack of some sort.

I'll make sure the other mods are aware of it and if there's some sort of pattern here, we'll hop on it. It may be that theres a "rude ad" in the queue. We've had those before and they're mega-annoying.

Don't know what you are using for hijack/spyware/adware killer - but Spybot S&D is about the best there is.

The guy who wrote this HATES malware, and gives this app for free (donations excepted, but not necessary).

I test apps, one was a key logger - Norton Antivirus fully updated did not see it - Spybot did.

another good spyware detection program (I think) is Ad-Aware. I use both spybot and ad-aware as ad-aware will catch some things that spybot doesn't and vice versa

Hacked probably.

After the banning of NANs and agent smith. Somethings going on. Make note that Agent smith claimed to be a FBI guy and Nans had medled in what some think would be FBI domain. Somethings going on. I think the board maybe under the control of the FBI!!! i am not jokeing either.

You mentioned this to me personaly. I doubt what you mention above is not proof. In fact it isn't really anything. I didn't even know AS had been banned.

Um. no No hack. No "agent smith" No troubles. Simple troubles at the user-end.

I guess even some staff are part of the cover up.

You have even gone as far as too say that there was no agent smith.
