Well said, I totally agree with you
They should all go somewhere and fight it out leaving the rest of us peaceful folks out of it
Mars is quiet at the mo they could go there and we can watch it all with little curiosity rover if he doesn't get flattened when they land that is

Armenia is closer to the Black Sea, than Iran, Syria, Cyprus or North Korea. Besides, Azerbaijan has a deal with Turkey. If Turkey makes a move on Armenia in support of Azerbaijan, marines in the Black Sea could make landfall in Turkey if they had to, although it would possibly start WWIII, Turkey being in NATO and all. Armenia doesn't have a coastline anywhere, I know that. The marines in the Black Sea could also go to Armenia via Georgia. If they wanted to go to Iran, Syria or Cyprus, they'd have to go through Turkey anyway. North Korea is at the other side of the world. Would be easier for them to go there via Kamchatka

If "we" are so peaceful, why do "we" want to watch it?

Theoretically yes, but in actuality no. Allies can't rely on drunk, corrupt and wife abusing Russians. Russia cannot do anything without China and Chinese are still treacherous commies!

Dont forget the Cyprus situation. Cyprus is where a lot of Russian money is banked and the Russian prime minister has openly called the current situation there, theft.

Cyprus is also historically a very strategic location as a launch pad for invasion into the middle east, right from the early crusades. Both Germany/EU and Russia have strategic interests in the ME, and dont discount a secret deal between Germany and Russia over the future of Cyprus.

Secret deals between Germany and Russia also has historic precedent, usually right before they go to war.

I care not for any secret deals between Germany and the Russians, because it isn't up the Germans what happens on Cyprus. If there is anyone to do a deal with over the island, it's the UK. After all, almost 100 square miles of the island is British Sovereign territory and the Russians would have to take on the 3,500 troops stationed there and the many that would be sent to reinforce.

This Russian move is probably more likely related to Syria than Cyprus. As an EU member, invading Cyprus would be foolish at best....

You must really hate your life if your wanting this thing to kick in. If WWIII gets going, anything you used to love will be gone. Billions of people will lose their lives and nothing will ever be the same for at least several generations.

I'd rather Kim Un choke on his daddies Mic Mac and the whole NK and SK quietly moves in a peacefully merges back into a single country and all the NK humanitarian needs are met.

If war breaks out, those poor people in NK will be sent to their deaths. Millions upon millions will die as they use old tactics of wave domination. In today's world, however, that won't work and they will die needlessly.

Perhaps the girl in the pink dress on the first page has something to do with it.

The one standing with the infantry guy.

What's the root wood of infantry?

I wonder if there is a connection between the girl in pink and the strange outbreak of war in Ossetia and Georgia. The Russian Navy was involved there too.

The troop numbers are symbolic.

Great find, thanks!

We need to see if any Chinese observers will be present. Could be a dry run for taking the japanese islands or Taiwan. The Chinese and Russia are becoming quite cozy and with the diversion China is orchestrating through North Korea, something is going to happen and soon.

China is going to jepperdize everything they built up and the world economy that is working in their favor to get their hands on taiwan? I really doubt it will come to it, unless they are willing to start over and rebuild for the next 50 years, but with taiwan theirs.

War used to be a couple of guys with a rifle and some ammo. Today military power is the most expensive project you can embark on. By the time you have the resources to build a military that is capable to project power on an international level you are so well off, there are only few projects where the risk/reward of that military is feasible enough to use it.

A country with the resources of Russia will only move its military if it is pretty certain they can overthrow the dollar as the reserve currency and impose that all oil is traded in Rubels.

On the other hand, if it takes only a couple of armed men and trucks with machineguns to win you are willing to risk fighting over a diamond mine.

Not a big deal, they do this stuff all the time. The Black Sea is their back yard, getting upset about this would be like getting upset with American manuvers off of Norfolk.

Russia Launches Surprise Military Exercise in Black Sea

It wasn't a surprise. We knew the Russians were going to do this exercise even before they thought of it.

Actually we gave them permission to conduct the exercise.

Is that like a surprise axe?

Russia Goes On Alert After Obama Jails Top CIA Spy

www.whatdoesitmean.com...

Not a trusted link but they seem to think the reason Putin ordered the Military excersie at 4am was because of spy Eric Harroun who warned Russian intelligence operatives in Syria of a false flag chemical attack plan from the US being arrested.

It was just a test for lazy Russian generals because the previous exercise was a disaster. Nothing aimed at outer audience, just an inner army test.
