I forgot that the whole world has to celebrate easter

I give religion 3 generations before people wake up and reject it for what it is....control, the seeds are already sown...religion is dying.

www.google.com...

Google has NEVER had a religious holiday depicted in their doodles. If didnt commit suicide the past few years when they ignored Christmas and Easter, what makes you think this year is any different? You are just some typical religious nut looking for attention because some company ignored him on their "holy day". Im willing to bet you; along with many other religious nuts thought this was honoring "Hugo Chavez"

And if you really are a christian, shouldnt you be in church right about now?

give to google what is google's and to God what is God's.

Don't really need Google to tell me what I should or shouldn't celebrate

What are you talking about?

If you had read the quote I was replying to, you would have understood my reply.

Easter is a floating holiday. It goes by a different calendar than ours. March 31 is set for Chavez day. Do you know who Cesar Chavez is?

Of course not. I reply to subjects that I have absolutely no clue to. I enjoy people... even moderators, questioning my ability to even be in the thread.

Something tells me Google will be around for awhile. It really doesn't matter whose face you put on there - you'll piss someone off.

Easter = Ishtar from Babylonia

mystery-babylon.org...

So in a sense, celebrating Easter is like celebrating a Babylonian holiday and the only ones that really worship Babylon today are pretty much Satanists, or Paganists to put it in a nicer way.

I love Jesus and all, but Easter is a pagan holiday.
If I was Christian, I would actually be insulted to have the resurrection of Jesus Christ being hoarded by bunnies signifying sexual fertility.

But sure, let Google insult you instead.

I've always found Google's choice of celebratory banners really awesome - they call attention to a lot of anniversaries that would otherwise go unnoticed. The Star Trek anniversary banner they did last year was pretty awesome. Kudos to them for doing this. Besides, I think the people that care about Easter know it was Easter. How many, even those familiar with Chavez, remembered that today was his birthday? If that's all it takes to get a few Christians riled up, I am appreciative of the extra bandwidth for my pagan searches.

Easter is a national holiday. If it were Martin Luther King day do you think the black community would be upset? Do you think Google would put up a pic of Hillary Clinton to commemorate it? Google made a stupid choice. They made a decision to basically call 2 billion people stupid publicly.

Imagine that..

Christoogle..

When you put in it...Why is the sky blue? Christoogle says because god made it that way.

In fact every question you asked the Christian search engine will just come up ....because god made it that way.

Gonna write a sketch to do with that

If having the Jesus resurrection holiday be symbolized by bunnies doesn't insult you, I wonder why Google does.
Oh and don't forget the FIVE BILLION other humans beings that really don'tcare about Easter.

Chavez is someone that could be forgotten if we don't pay attention while the Babylonian celebration of Ishtar will surely persist on even if the almighty Google doesn't pay homage to it.

In a way, it's like Thanksgiving. I don't celebrate pilgrims, Indians, corn or turkeys. We gather to give thanks for our family and the love and life we have been blessed with.

With Easter, we don't do bunnies but we do like to color eggs for the grand kids. And just like Christmas, it's also about perception and corruption of original intent. What all of these are... well, comes from the heart... not the interpretation of Walmart.

Someone pointed out that Google doesn't honor any religious holiday with it's doodles.
Should all corporations visibly honor Christian holidays?
Should there be a law?

Some people just love to find things to be angry about.
To do so on their own religious holiday is rich.

How many of these upset Christians do you think think that Cesar Chavez is a socialist related to Hugo Chavez?
I'd bet more than half.

en.wikipedia.org...

In the past five years Google hasn't had any banner on the date coinciding with Easter (pretty sure they *never* have, but I didn't confirm back that far). They haven't committed suicide by ignoring the date, so I don't see it as much worse that they discuss a different topic.

My preference would have been on a banner for The Walking Dead since the season finale is tonight, but since they use the space for subjects of interest to them, not for product placement, I understand the absence.

Link above has the full list of Google banners over the years.

I commend your observation. I have studied it quite a bit, and I believe Google has a
Communist Agenda. At the very least, there is something rather strange going on in
their upper echelons. Probably the mid and lower echelons as well.

I detect a certain "uncleanliness" and "untrustworthiness" in their presence.

I care not if I am reprimanded by "The Flamers" for this.

Happy Easter to You and Yours! S&F

I recall an Easter egg last year. I could be wrong. Might have been the year before. They definitely just made a statement with this logo in any event. I bet their stockholders will be blowing up their phones pretty quick. I predict a stock drop in the coming weeks as well.
