Okay, we've got a lot of folks who predict things in the predictions forum, so just for grins I thought I'd start a "predict the winner" post. If you get close enough, you get Un-Official Bragging Rights (better than Official Bragging Rights. Trust me.)

Predict:

Who will win the popular vote:
Who will win the electoral vote:
When the winner will finally be determined (remember the mess in 2000? It was days before we knew):
Tiebreaker: What will the final percentages be?

If you're REALLY into this, then you should also go for:
Number (to the nearest 10) lawsuits filed over this election

I"ll go first (being the (ahem) brilliant one that came up with this)
Predict:

Who will win the popular vote: Kerry by about 400,000 votes
Who will win the electoral vote: Kerry
When the winner will finally be determined (remember the mess in 2000? It was days before we knew): 3 days
Tiebreaker: What will the final percentages be? 48% to Bush, 53% to Kerry.

If you're REALLY into this, then you should also go for:
Number (to the nearest 10) lawsuits filed over this election: Oh... about 100

(edited because I changed "electoral votes" to percentages)

The Republicans will win hands down. There are enough people scared of the boogey man to keep Bush in office for 4 more years.

Kerry will win both the popular and electoral votes, but Bush will be forced to remain as president for at least the next year as the court system is tied up in the many suits and countersuits that are brought up on both sides. By this time, our economy will be destroyed, and we will be in the middle of World War Three, and no one will really care who won.....

Talk of election reform will take center stage, but quickly afterward, the chinese will out law elections, so you can forget about the campaing finance reform, changes to the electoral college system, ect.

Don't take this prediction seriously, because I ain't.....

But, for the first time in my life, I am actually afraid of what might happen if Bush is reelected....so I hope Kerry wins...

Although, I will still be voting for the likes of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the like........I am tired of having to pick from the lesser or two evils.

Ok I predict Kerry will win the popular vote thanks to the younger voters and women.

The electoral vote I am not very sure. But I put my bet on Kerry.

I think we are going to have some problems in Ohio and that is going to delay the results. So the winner will not be determined sooner.

And perhaps the winner will win so over whelming that it will be not doubts about it.

Who will win the popular vote: Kerry in reality, but Bush will show as more popular by about 6 or 7 votes due to "malfuctions" and "errors" during the process.
Who will win the electoral vote: Bush, the key states will have the most malfunctions causing errors in favor of Bush (again).
When the winner will finally be determined: Right after a state of emergency postponing any changes in executive leadership due to a government caused "terrorist attack"
or 4 days.
Tiebreaker: 49.0000006% Bush, 49.0000004% Kerry. 1% other
1,100 unsuccessful lawsuits, mostly by minorities whose votes weren't counted which the recount will show (again).

Sorry for the cynicism guys, but I really think that's how it's going to go down.

That's easy. We're either going to get an NWO Skull and Bones Frat Boy or
we're going to get an NWO Skull and Bones Frat Boy.

Either way, we lose.

No third party candidate is on the ballot in all 50 states, to produce a plurality. Impossible.

We're wupped.

Bush by a squeaker in both popular and electoral.

Ohio and Florida, possibly Arizona will see countless lawsuits, well over 100 between the three states. Don't forget Pennsylvannia and the phantom votes in Philadelphia this morning. NYC as well possibly, due to malfunctioning machines and supplying paper to citizens to write their vote on for later recording by elections officials. That is asking for a challenge by the loser of that district.

I think that courts around the country will remember 2000 and not allow themselves to be made fools of. Lawsuits will flow or get dismissed very quickly and sternly.

I expect it will be next week before we hear something.
