I want to understand everything. If your God jumped down here for a minute and drew me a diagram or two of how the universe works then I'd be a lot closer to understanding what you think I should believe in.

Not at all. I just do not want to argue. It is not that you cannot understand, it is that you do not want to understand. I do not understand celestial methods either,

Well maybe you should because it has a lot to do with your Messiah. 12 Disciples (12 Constellations), 3 Kings (Belt of Orion), Jesus the Son of God (The Sun), God (The Universe), I'm sure there are more also which could wind up back in the gospels. Maybe Mary was the constellation Virgo (The Virgin)

There is one God, you are right.
I believe so too. But God made the Universe more diverse than just being infinite nothingness. He made Creation, and since Creation is still a part of Him, He Loved It, and It loves Him.

You remind me a lot of Plato. What I have read that he seems very spiritual. I see that as more wishy-washy than realistic. But I like seeing what people believe in and why they do.

I never told you to believe in everything.

The first step to achieving understanding is knowing that you do not understand.

I guess so. They usually see Jesus as a righteous person. But not the Messiah or God.

The Prophets clearly state. But the pharisees preach of a worldly messiah instead of the Spiritual King which they were given

Your opening title and post are statements. Statements imply fact. Fact implies that you believe that other people believe said fact. You said I should believe God is Jesus.

Do not concern yourself.
I'm sure your Jesus will forgive you.

From what I can gather bro, Jesus never wanted to be worshipped as a demi-god. He wanted to give people a teaching which would lead them in the right direction. The same could be said for Mohammed and other figures throughout history. So you can believe what you wish and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But I cannot bring myself to put him alongside God, one thing he didn't want was the way things have turned out today..

The statement implies that I believe it as fact, and I am sorry that you do not.

That is the thing about faith.

I am not going to argue or coerce you into agreement, what I have said stands on its own and imposes itself on no one.

Person A says X.
Person B believes statement X affects him.
Person A does not believe statement X affects person B.

Who is right?

The way things are today is God's will and He wanted God's will.

Jesus' divine Spirit is God, and the Jesus you may get to know by reading His words is God.
His physical body is not God, but His divine Spirit given to us is.

Jesus never claimed to be God, so why should you?

If Jesus is/was God then his sacrifice to himself was meaningless, as he was just God wearing a human suit pretending to have been human, temporarily.

If Jesus is/was God, then so are each and every one of us.

Person B has read a statement and has taken offense to it.

Person A was stating their faith, and was doing nothing more than that.

If person A had stated that their statement was a belief rather than a statement, maybe person B wouldn't be as pissed off mate.

"Jesus never claimed to be God, so why should you? "

Because Man-God gave Himself as God to man. He Who was resurrected was resurrected as God, not as man.

"If Jesus is/was God then his sacrifice to himself was meaningless, as he was just God wearing a human suit pretending to have been human, temporarily. "

Jesus was Man and God, but God overcame the Man.

"If Jesus is/was God, then so are each and every one of us."

No, I disagree. Jesus can raise us from the dead, we cannot raise ourselves.

A statement can be a belief. A belief can be truth. Someone would not believe something which they know to be untrue. Besides, it is true.

For this reason,
There is a series of epigrams that says:
"The bright way seems dim.
The forward way seems backward.
The level way seems bumpy.
Superior integrity seems like a valley.
The greatest whiteness seems grimy.
Ample integrity seems insufficient.
Robust integrity seems apathetic.
Plain truth seems sullied.

-Tao Te Ching.

I find myself backing up my faith more and more with the Tao... weird.
