I thought about putting this in the 'rant' forum but it's not really a rant, just a few thoughts on our morale as a human race. I will keep it short. (okay, it might be a mild rant)

If one consciousness is actually what we are all participating in, or even if we are not all connected, I just have a feeling that morale is crumbling around the world. For one, there is no good news anymore. The local news - all bad news. With that said, I rarely watch the news whether it be local or national/world. ATS and a few other sites, along with my friends and family are my news sources. I don't facebook, twitter or participate in whatever other distraction that has been invented so every single person can give the world their pointless opinion.

Which brings me to my other point - distractions. As if "they" know the endless bombardment of bad news on the citizens of the world, they provided those citizens of earth with more than enough distractions to keep us unfocused on the BIG BAD news, and instead, focused on the opinions and lives of celebrities and every other Joe Idiot that chimes in with a politically incorrect rant on gays or jews or animals.

Now, with all these neat distractions, lost trust in our leaders/neighbors, economy woes, misinformation (some conspiracies included), shootings and what-have-you ~~~~~ how can one's consciousness or our collective consciousness possibly survive, let along thrive?? And unfortunately, I think we all understand the good possibility of WW3 and a detiorating or collapse of the world economy (definitely local economies) where the average citizen of the world will lose out. Whether that 'loss' is of our mind, our way of life, our savings, our love, our stability, our innocence or our faith (in God, in each other, in the world).

We are constantly beaten down (if you're paying attention) and I just want to let those that are being affected mentally, physically or spiritually that I feel you. I feel you! I understand and I care. I empathize. And there are countless others out there that feel you, understand and care as well. We are all going through this together. We all want to convey strength, we want to convey that we have everything under control. It's just how we humans operate, even in times of despair, especially in times of despair.

Don't ever forget we are in this together. I am your brother. We are beaten down as one and we will rise as one!

To everyone that took the time to read this - I appreciate your time!

if more people shared the solidarity view over the divisional view, humans would be a stronger force.
i honestly dont think some humans on the planet can ever come back to being one force per se' and in the future i see we will need unity to over come what is coming, but this continual "i know more than you" or "i am more superior" mind set will get whole country's annihilated, including mine, i feel, as they implode from within.

Indeed. The ego has taken control - and it does not like to lose. Most have forgotten the art of debate. Debate has become argument, an interaction born from the ego. It is an interaction where all participants lose. We can do better, we must do better.

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
- Sir Winston Churchill, Speech in November 1942

He was very early to say it in how it would really apply, but I think those are the best sentiments to describe what we may be about to go through. It's happened before. Many times before. Great conflict and chaos usually is the historic sign of transition from one clear era to another. It's never pretty ....but it always ends with plenty to rebuild and need for it to be done.

It's sure interesting to watch develop as a real sequence of events. So close to what was played out from video games to paper scenarios over a couple decades now, too.

I agree we all need to try and stay strong. At ATS we (the members) have a wonderful opportunity to band together and give to each other moral support. I think most at ATS (if not all) know that (something is up) and we are bracing ourselves.

And...here is a....

For everyone.

I've been feeling the low low of worldview today as well. Everything going on is really depressing. You don't even need to look that closely to see it coming to a head. It's hard to keep your head up with everything so heavy, and so many so blind. Music has always helped me to cope, this song has been keeping me feeling hopeful we will come out better off on the other end of what's coming. I hope it might help someone else here.

Puscifer covered Accept's Balls to the Wall on the Recent Donkey Punch the Night EP, as well as a sick version of Bohemian Rhapsody and an awesome video to match. It's hard to say which I like best, Accept or Puscifer. Here's the cover and lyrics, which are more pertinent than ever...

Too many slaves in this world
Die from torture and pain
To many people do not see they're killing themselves going insane
Too many people don't see the imprisoned human race
They believe slaves always loose
Fear keeps them in their place

Watch the damned (God bless you)
They're gonna break their chains (hey)
No, you can't stop them (God bless you)
They're coming to get you

Balls to the wall man
Balls to the wall
Balls to the wall man
Balls to the wall

Too many slaves in this world
Die from torture and pain
To many people do not see they're killing themselves going insane
Too many people don't see the imprisoned human race
They believe slaves always loose
Fear keeps them in their place

Watch the damned (God bless you)
They're gonna break their chains (hey)
No, you can't stop them (God bless you)
They're coming to get you

You get your balls to the wall man
Balls to the wall
Balls to the wall man
Balls to the
Balls to the
Balls to the wall

And a little Citizen Cope to to help cope.

Damn...

Baby we were born
Maybe we were born
To be sure ... to endure
When the storm comes

When you're so long gone, you can't help yourself
When you're so dead wrong
Let alone no one else

Well the children still dying in the streets
The babies still living with disease
The cops got guns, the poor folks got sons
Who work for Mr. Franklin every week

If you've come looking for hard times
Hard times ain't hard to find
Cause we've been given that lifeline
Only once in a lifetime

Baby we were born
Maybe we were born
To be sure ... to endure
When the storm comes

Got them sad eyes
Got them cat eyes
Got your angels tired
From saving your life

So you would be best
To contain yourself
Before you end up killed

His bare feet
Touch her bare feet
The air breaths sweet
At the mountains peak

And I forgot
What the wise man said
About that ancient thread

Baby we were born
Maybe we were born
To be sure ... to rejoice
When it succumbs

Your Op was really so insightful and important....we are in this together gang.......and a big focus of my life lately is to dedicate my time and efforts toward making the world, at least in my immediate community better. I do use FB, and I do see value in communicating with family and friends about current issues we are facing that many of my loved ones do not fully comprehend yet how much peril we are in....but I know, they love and respect me...and I am really pleased to see more and more people speaking out, especially about this most recent assult against humanity by Monsanto and "our" government.

I had to call 9-11 today when my 75 yr old Dad had a seizure in the shower this morning, very scary....I was actually thinking about writing a thread about all the wonderful people that helped us...♥.....he is home and doing ok...we see a specialist on Mon.....this happened back in Feb. too.....the point is people are wonderful overall....

But, the weird thing was when my sister and I arrived at the hospital....we had to be searched...
lol, now if you saw my sis and I we are well groomed, middle age women...our Dad was just brought in to emergency, he was aggitated and disorientated, they wouldn't let me drive in the ambulance with him...not that I blame the paramedics...they were kind and wonderful....the thing is...this was new, we weren't searched a few mns. ago when my Dad had to go to the hospital....WTF is going on????

Sorry to be off topic...my emotions are running high...but for some reason this seemed the right thread to share this experience.......

Thanks for your reply and your contribution.

That's unbelievably disturbing to be searched after arriving at a hospital with an emergency! More and more people will begin to realize the dire straits the world is in as they finally experience unprecedented levels of security. This growing security at highways, airports and now hospitals is a direct reflection of the insecurity of our leaders. It is not the citizens that are asking for this security, it is a calculated move by a comfortable government.

Unforgivable
