Attleboro (Mass) student suspended for bringing butter knife to school

More craziness over these "zero tolerance" rules. I guess mommy has to cut her fruit for her lunch because the school officials can't trust little Morgan to cut her own fruit for fear she might go psycho and try to kill everyone in the lunchroom with a butter knife.

technically its a knife and the place has a zero tolerance rule to knives, always remember when i was at school and i pulled out a rambo style 8" knife to slice some fruit... some of the kids were like omg but luckily the teacher knew i was in the scouts and had had the knife for years (due to bad weather i'd basically turned up directly from camp so had no chance to offload stuff like that back home) and UK schools didn't have lockers etc like they have over the pond either so you had to keep your stuff on you at all times or it'd get stolen
