History has proven it ts possible an entire political party can become tyrannical. You'll know its too late when reports of election fraud are common.

Once a representative is voted in there isn't much anybody can do about how they vote until the next election cycle comes around. I'm from Illinois where we have a long record of politicial corruption. I feel like the voting process here isn't enough to change. If 1/10 of the politcal attack ads that ran during the last election are true then its likely we are going to experience more of the same crap no matter which candidate we vote in. The democrats here have run this state past the point of rescue.

What kind of reaction do you think there will be once the IL state employees eventually realize they won't be getting the retirement that they was promised? Are they going to demand a bailout from the US Gov? Eventually the full tyrany of the IL state government will come painfully to light...

Hell, people acted as if the economy had collapsed during the Monica Lewinski fiasco. Yes Sir! And the way he came in claiming to end politics as usual was a briliant lie. It worked on me because I was so upset with Bush. Exactly what they planned.

Yes, the whole racist thing is nonsense..not to say that there aren't racists mind you, but frankly, its a wash due to it going both ways (including CynicalEye whom is either racist also, or just trolling for lulz).

In saying that. He has done tons for -his- citizens..aka, the left, the dems overall. Not enough, and the left screams he negotiates and moves to the right far too much for their ideals, but lets not pretend Obama has done nothing in regards to his many campaign promises.

The thing is, if both sides are moaning, then the chances are, the person is doing it right..the nation is united in its division, but a proper potus serves both sides in the middle..which of course makes both sides annoyed. Frankly, I want to see a proper liberal far left president for awhile just to the right understands what the left is..then they will stop moaning when a centrist gets into power. More annoyingly is that the next D in power, we will hear from the right how great Obama was and how he always spent time negotiating with them unlike the new D potus whom is basically a socialist (yawn).
