I guess it was a better episode for those of us who've at least read through this season's books. The episode gave us a lot of what we were wanting to
see in the books, but didn't deliver in the normal areas: action, combat, sex, etc.
Though just conversations, I personally enjoyed every one of them. The Queen of Thorns & Tywin, Cersei & Tyrion, Jon & Ygrette, Jaime & Roose, and
Petyr & Varys, every one of them had things that weren't in the books, but things we would have loved to hear them say.
Just wait though. The next episodes of this season are going to have a LOT.
Next week, we'll see Dani take over another city, and of course the wedding between Tyrion & Sansa
If my guess is right, the first episode in June is going to be the best episode of the entire series, and that event has it's foundation in last
night's episode (the arranged wedding where Rob has to make an apology for not marrying the Frey daughter).
