Why would a spy agency need remote access to the real names and home address and such for all their agents?

They wouldn't.

There fore any data like that would be stored on computers NOT even connected to the internet for the exact reason that if no ones needs it remotely and hackers exist, it simply CANT be 'got at'.

These are most likely, on-line agents... I.E. Disinfo agents that post on message boards and the like.

And Mossad has over 30,000 of them.

They would need the list on-line for verification, and mass emails for "Switching Tactics" updates.
