But as it hears arguments about legality and constitutionality, the court finds itself handling an inevitably political trial, which has more to do with Mr. Yeltsin's legitimacy and influence as the inheritor of Soviet power than it does with any real effort to revive the Communist Party.

Boris Yeltsin didn't outlaw a rumor or some theory.

Viktor I. Zorkaltsev, a legislator from Tomsk who was also representing the Communists, praised the party for defeating fascism in World War II and "building a mighty power that achieved great heights in science, culture and education." While the party had made "mistakes," he said, it was also reforming itself, and the party "as a whole" had not supported the coup attempt against Mr. Gorbachev.

I'm trying very hard to believe that America doesn't deserve what it's getting right now. I don't care for America at all personally - just like I don't care for any nation. I find nationalism to be an out-dated primitive sociopolitical construct that we need to tear down (without allowing the world to fall into the hands of the few yet again... easier said than done!).

But as much as I hate America and their policies, the American people do not deserve what's coming to them no matter what anyone says. No body deserves what's coming to us, but f#ck man! You can't say we weren't bloody warned!

We've got over 50 years of this bullsh#t on file - from leaked documents to whistle-blowers to investigative reports to straight-up admittance from key political figures that all this is REAL, and all this is REALLY ABOUT TO GO DOWN - whether we like it or not (in other words - business as usual). But the fact that it's an unsavory situation is no valid excuse to stick your proverbial heads back up your proverbial ass, people! Not now of all times!

I don't know what to do about it. But I know what not to do about it. And we ought not to sit around on these computers of ours blowing off steam at each other while the world turns to sh#t around us for no good reason at all.


We need to create a new System ASAP. And believe me when I say, if it's not SIMPLE, FAIR and STABLE, it's gonna get hijacked by these shadow manipulators again. And don't tell me we can't do it, because we can land a f#cking space car on Mars. We're pretty good at problem solving, despite all the evidence to the contrary (when we apply ourselves, that is).

We need to learn from our mistakes like an intelligent species is supposed to. Somewhere along the line, our mistake-fixer got broken I think. And our children will pay the price - remember that. This isn't about you anymore. This especially isn't even about America either (at least not in the long-term).


This is about the future of humanity. And it's serious business. It should be treated as such.

So grow up ATS, or prepare to be culled. That's the reality of your situation America, and you ultimately are in control of your fate. Now would be a good time to start acting the part

What I would like to know is, where are all these DHS people coming from? I mean don't they also have family and friends? Were they released from prisons for this? Are they an alien race? Soulless? Have they been brainwashed? Or were they sold a bill of good for a job they believe is to protect Americans? Won't these DHS people have people they know and love effected by this whole cabal?

They are getting paid with the promise (lies) of continued employment, benefits. promises of protection and healthcare for them and their families.

This in turn can turn many against their fellow human beings because it's all about survival and many will sacrifice their integrity for scraps off the table.

Why would anyone be MORE comfortable with the DoD having that insstead of the the D.H.S? I think theyre both equally bad choices from the list of "people we should give billions of rounds of ammo to".

So it looks like if this is true and continues to move in this direction no one is going to intervene until it comes to an uprising. I personally can't think of a way to intervene given that the government at all levels have infiltrated our lives gradually and with the American public going along with each step of the process. This entity no longer works for the people and they scare the h out of me.

Border control for sure. I was pulled over once well within Montana but within about 50 miles of Canadian border. Not a big deal but evidently they do this.

The problem isn't capitalism or communism. I think either one could work splendidly. The problem is ethics. The unethical (evil) people always seem to get rich and powerful and take over no matter what type of gov or economic system is in place. The reason for this is that ethical people have lines they will not cross no matter how much money and power is at stake. whereas the unethical will run over old ladies and babies for a few dollars giving them the advantage. We don't all play by the same rules. It's like playing poker but the dealer gets as many cards as he wants to make his hand. Dishonest salesmen are likely to make more sales because they will lie and the ethical man is limited by the truth. The same is true with politicians and votes. An honest man can rarely get elected to a high office leaving only the unethical who is willing to lie for votes in charge. Look at president B.O. almost everything he originally campaigned on was a lie. He was reelected anyways. This is also proof of another problem, stupidity. Because of pop culture and sports (I think) a good portion of our population is mentally disabled. This is no accident. The unethical people who control everything including the airwaves have done this to us on purpose. If not for the stupidity/ignorance of the populace we would have never let things get this far to begin with. It does appear that we are in for some trouble. I just pray we can over come whatever they throw at us.

I see that too. It has shaken my faith in fact. Does one have to be bad to have a secure place in society? It appears that way. I always vote for the little guy - the one the media does not promote and I sometimes wonder why I try. I would like to see ATS grow and overtake MSM (just a thought) since the media does not care to educate. As the saying goes "the media does not inform but rather forms opinions and knowledge". I've had very little interest in politics in my life but have learned tons in only a couple of years due to sites like this. I always do my due diligence with substantiating claims before committing myself to a solid theory but the idea is that we're allowed to converse back and forth without being shut down, without judgement, and therefore become a part of the solution as we grow and learn. It's a process. It's more than a couple of experts who lost touch with the average person simply by the fact they are now within government (the power monster). It takes engagement. When people are involved in the thinking they learn (can't tell them...have to have them participate in their learning). If more of the population was reading (and participating) in discussions such as these we would not be where we are. People would have seen this unfolding gradually due to critical thinking and clever minds. I sure wish I had paid closer attention and joined long ago. I failed to engage and in turn stayed blind. It's truly terrifying what this is beginning to look like. I see it in my personal life. The government owns me and I hate it.

I agree with capitalism also, FREE MARKET, and like I have said many times before.......lobbying needs to be made illegal along with bailouts.


Socialism, in the form I have seen pushed around the world goes against human nature. Making everyone equal, forcing I should say, and denying private property for the good of all is so wrong.

Human nature does not work that way, we have to be emotionless robots for it to work, that's why it never has.

Maybe once the singularity happens and we are no longer human you can have your "Utopia".

Until then, we are humans, some are lazy, some are types A's some inbetween.

We are allowed to own property in the US and rise or fail as we wish. The end.
