I'm no expert on this subject but I've checked RSOE quite a few times before and Cali is always lit up with small quakes like this. If you start seeing swarms of 6.0+ then I'd say you're on to something.

Wouldn't this be the Long Valley Caldera area? I could have sworn that was a pretty well-known perma-swarm zone there, in that it's always shaking to one small degree or another.
