...and the cover story is the X-series planes. I was reading about them, and it showed two black pictures with a top secret "stamp" over them. The
model numbers are X-41 and X-42. I was just wondering if anyone knew where to find a picture or information on those two airplanes. You guys should
definately pick the magazine up, though. It's got some really cool picutes in it. It has a nice pic of an X-43A waverider plane (CG, but still
good.), a picture of the X-45A, and a couple of the X-47A, which reminds me somewhat of the Aurora.

popular mechanics is a good magazine from what i have heard. They have stuff on top secret science stuff a lot.

I agree with I-love-p, Zoch. Popular Mechanics is well worth consulting.

X-machines frequently a grey area, Zoch: by all the accounts the X-41 is a particularly unpleasant military craft and X-42 is a rocket booster (rather
than an aircraft).
Caltech has a relatively sober little site here:-

The X-41, it is claimed is"an ICBM for delivering biological weapons."
Eek!

And for all fans of X-craft: a straightforward list from X-1 to X-45 is always available at Ensil.
