Hearing reports of giant green fireball over east coast.

Anyone see it or get pics?

Where are you hearing these reports? Would be interested to see some pics of this if it's real.

Reports coming in..Gigantic meteorite hit in the Atlantic! Sonic booms! Tsunami warning for the east coast! My God! Run for your lives!

Anyone know what the make up of it could be if it appears green or is that from the atmosphere?

It fell in the Bridgeville, Delaware area. News crews enroute.

NBCWashington.com is hearing reports that a meteor may have been spotted over the region Friday night. Rebecca Hovis told us in an email at 8 p.m. that she saw what appeared to be a meteor. "I was on Van Dorn [Street] going toward seminary road," she wrote. Karen Watson told us on Twitter: "Yes, yes! Saw the meteor--bright green -- in the sky over Kingstowne (Alexandria), VA."

From Bloomberg on Twitter:

Reports of a possible meteor seen on U.S. Eastern Seaboard; sightings from upstate New York to northern Virginia.

Looking around for pictures or video.

Here is a link that someone is posting claiming it to be of the meteor. I do not see it, or I am looking past it?

Don't run away! Run TO it! Remember....they pay for meteorite debris by the GRAM.

Better known ones are worth more, too. Each one is like a new chance at hitting a mini jackpot if you can find a rock of it. Nothing to retire on, but who couldn't use a few hundred to a few thousand extra dollars for finding the right chunk of something?
