Looks like it is time to start the flood fight here in North Dakota

Flood Fight I wish it was that time here, we are expecting more heavy wet snow here tonight and into tomorrow. The snowbanks are still over six feet high at the end of the driveway and the three foot fence around the asparagus isn't visible yet. We're entering into an ice age already here with none of the promised benefits of global warming.

Today it is going to be in the high 30's. This weekend it is going to be in the 60's. This is going to make for a very fast snow melt. Fargo has been sandbagging for weeks. Right now the furthest prediction is for a river height of 34.5 feet by Tuesday. This is not the final crest prediction. Right now the river is at 17.24 feet. Flood stage is 18 feet.
