Sellafield and surrounding areas (Seascale etc) are high winds and about 3" of snow, my in-laws live in Seascale, which is right next door to Sellafield, they have confirmed this, James (father-in-law) was sent home early and confirmed there was no problems on site, it was just a precaution.

20(ish) miles away to the north in Workington (also on the NW coast) where I live however, not a sign of snow apart from a few flakes earlier, just overcast, cold, and although windy, I wouldn't say anything drastic.

Thanks Woogle. It's amazing how localised these snowfalls can be.
