Look, if geo-engineering is going on without our knowledge, you all should be very, very thankful. If they haven't already started, they sure as hell
better, ASAP. The arctic is in the process of cracking up as we speak.
To my very weak understanding, the polar jet stream has been malformed to the extent that once the ice melts over the summer, it will likely not
reform in the winter as is suspected. So we're likely ice free from either this summer, to maybe a few out yet. Then we're certainly past the point
of no return. This was predicted by most climate models as highly unlikely to occur before mid century. Well, we've set off ten of the ten known
positive feedback mechanisms for AGW, and none of the models prior to 2010 account for a single one of them.
Putting it all together, we're screwed as a species, or at the very least civilization, unless we take drastic changes, such as geo-engineering. We
must be doing whatever the hell we can right now to damage control the situation. The risk of letting things go as is, is far too detrimental compared
to the potential risk of acting. If we do nothing, toast. If we do something and are still toast, what of it?
Nothing in the report indicates that geo-engineering is already happening that I can see, though, again, I sure as hell hope they start with a
quickness if it's not already being done.
The biggest problem we face is the delayed reaction of our emissions to causing actual changes in the atmosphere. The delay is thought to be at least
a decade, meaning the temperature changes we're currently seeing (assuming geo-engineering is not happening), is from prior to 2004 at the least.
Much industrialization, and carbon emissions has come about in the last decade with the rise of China and India.
You can tell how weak the report is by this same stupid statement that gets improperly judged over, and over again by fools across internet forums:

This in NO WAY indicates that we are deliberately causing this event, that AGW is a scam, or whatever the hell else the fools choose to judge it as.
It is what it is. A realization of our nature, and the inevitable repercussions of our collective actions.
