Authorities in Chile are investigating why thousands of prawns were washed up on a beach in the coastal city of Coronel, covering it with a layer of pink. Hundreds of dead crabs were also washed up on the coastline. Fishermen have suggested pollution may be to blame.

Sea viruses what?!? Oil maybe, I was thinking maybe a solar flare it is in a simmilar region (south america, although granted is a big place) to the fish last year....?
