I wonder, do all the extremists dye their hair pink before their act of jihad? The 90 year old with a walking stick drives in with a pink mohawk, screams "allahu akbar" and pink roses fall from the ceiling?

Do all Islamic extremist use henna before they go on jihad? No.
Are all people that use henna, muslim? No
But using henna to dye your hair before going on a killing spree has a definite symbolic meaning to it.

Trying to ignore the symbolism represented by the henna coloring is the same as ignoring the symbolism of burning crosses.

There is no symbolism to henna color. It's just a lot of baloney .
You're thinking too deep into it ,and your islamophobia is taking place. "before going a a killing spree" .
Give me a break. I said it and I repeat it, if this guy did what he did intentionally (whether he's Muslim or not). , his place from Islamic prospective is in hell, so that completely DEMOLISHES your theory of " home grown jihad"
I have never heard of coloring hair with henna as part of islam in my life , and i have lived in strict muslim communities and traveled and learned alot about islam. Muslim women who wear a scarf dye their hair blond, red, brown. under their scarf. It doesn't matter.
Henna colored hair/facial hair has nothing to do with islam, or symbolism., or the jihad war. Or any of the bullcrap you said, Period.

When dealing with this kind of evil, Islam is the best vehicle to offer justification for acts of evil, and absolution afterward...

Despite what people will believe now or not, none of you have yet seen what this evil is truly capable of. Pray you never do...

bigot, anti-Muslim racist, Islamaphobic, use whatever terminology you want, the fact is that to guess someone must have had a beard when he killed a load of people , means he must have been a Muslim person when he killed all those people is simply disgusting.

you thread is a disgrace and its a disgrace ATS allows this muslim bashing

For the first time, these Muslim students are discussing the issue of Islamophobia at the elite Institute for Political Studies in Paris.

Nearly a decade ago, the first cases of discrimination took place in French schools.

There have been reports over the past months that some universities have enforced a ban on headscarves. For some Muslims, discrimination becomes a bigger concern when they apply for jobs.

A large number of Muslim students come from suburbs like this, Saint Denis, just north of Paris. And many of them say, discrimination after college or university means that there's little chance to continue higher studies. Discrimination is common to many immigrant communities, but some face it more often than others.

For these students, their North African identity has been an added cause for discrimination.

It remains to be seen if such a conference can make a difference, but for these students, discussing Islamophobia which often affects them, is an achievement in itself. .
