Whatever happened to the antiwar movement?

Remember all those marches, all those placards, those giant puppets and loud displays of moral outrage?

It’s vanished! Gone! Evaporated like morning mist!

Indeed, most Americans who were marching in the streets, denouncing what they called “Bush’s war,” voted for Barack Obama for President

Naw...you don't get it....Not even close.

But that's okay. If you think you are trying, then you think you are trying.

Intentionally lying on ATS is a banning offense...

But since ATS has shifted to the conservative far right; you're safe!

Enjoy your name calling, hateful, misinformed, attempt at being clever.

The injustice of liberating Kuwait for an Iraqi invasion? Right...

It's a crying shame that you don't even realize that you're talking about two completely different wars.

And that Emir "Let's do the assembly-abolishment-thing again" Jaber of Kuwait was the nicest guy evar! (Instrumental in weakening OPEC)
Also that desert storm was widely hailed as a cure to the darn vietnam-"You can't go to war with these people anymore, they start protesting all the time"-problem.
That Iraqs invasion of Kuwait was greenlighted by the US (possibly by mistake)

Also as to the OP: Here is noted libertarian Amy Goodman of RepublicNow! devoting a whole broadcast to the matter:
www.democracynow.org...

I also knew that guy before you did, because I had seen this:
www.youtube.com...
It's a trailer for a documentary called "body of war" by esteemed neo-con Phil Donahue. Donahue got fired from MSNBC because he was too pro iraq war
