You just said that what you are calling a name meant something about being.
Do you think God decided to wait until the Hebrew language developed so that He could choose a name for Himself, in Hebrew?
God's name is revealed in the Gospel, Jesus.
You probably have a problem with that and I suggest that you try to get over it the best you can by reading the New Testament but not the Watchtower version, or anything else from that publisher.

English bibles use English names, it's not so hard of a concept to understand, for example what are the versions of the name "John" in other languages ?
