Turns out the H1N1 swine flu pandemic was responsible for at least 579,000 deaths in 2009 - now it's back, and it's drug resistant. Even Tamiflu is not working but manufacturer Roche apparently hid the evidence while sucking governments into stockpiling the useless stuff. Again.

...the drugs company Roche, which makes Tamiflu, has been accused of withholding evidence that suggests it is barely more effective than paracetamol in treating swine flu.

Fears of another swine flu outbreak

s/f OP

All there ever seems to be is fears.. Fears of this. Fears of that. I wonder if this is all just scare mongering.. Nothing is as easy as scaring the masses into complying submission..

Kind of makes you wonder how many other ineffective drugs they are peddling using fear mongering as their "angle". Seems like every virus that comes along nowadays is being touted as a possible pandemic. Fear sells!

isn't the federal government supposed to test these drugs before they hit the market?
the FDA.

what good are they?

maybe some pesky cronies had some stock in roche.

another reason to ban unconstitutional government agencies.
