Chardon High shooter TJ Lane wears 'killer' T-shirt, gives middle finger to courtroom at sentencin

T.J Lane got life in prison for killing three Chardon High school students last February. He came into court wearing a white t-shirt with KILLER written on it in black marker.



He also flipped off the court and the family members of the victims, smirked and laughed as families of the victims told heartbreaking stories about how they found out the teen killed their loved ones.

I dont know if they would be able to hold me back, I would have to try and get to him Just smiling and laughing wtf??

I hope he gets "taken care of" in prison

A brazen TJ Lane is wearing a T-shirt with "killer" handwritten on it and has flipped off family members of the victims of the Chardon High School shooting at his sentencing Tuesday morning.

Lane, not handcuffed but surrounded by deputies, smirked and laughed as families of the victims told heartbreaking stories about how they found out the teen killed their loved ones.

"You're evil," Nick Walczak's mother said to Lane. Walczak was paralyzed from the shooting.

This kid is sick. He told the victim's families, "The hand that pulled the trigger and killed your sons now masturbates to their memory."

This is only a few miles from me. I know people affected by this. I hope this punk rots in prison.

I think there is merit in what you say- handing off 1 year olds and 2 year olds to "child care workers" on minimum wages who have 4 or 5 other kids to look after (kids which they have no parental "love" for).

Additionally I would say the increasing use of chemicals, whether legally proscribed or illegal is helping to produce people with the mindsets that it is ok to walk up and shoot random people

He'll learn some lessons the hard way in prison.

Personalities like these, however, tempt one to consider the value of more barbaric and creative punishments met out throughout history.

How many people did he kill?
A day and a night of excruciating, bone breaking permanent damage torture for each life he took then getting staked out for dogs to finish, devour and poop out would seem appropriate.

Don't turn this into some political issue. There were psychos like this guy long before socialism even existed, his crazy ass is just another example of the human condition.

He will appeal this sentence, of course. I think this whole show he put on today is just him still hoping to play the insanity card at his appeal.

it is worth discussing- of course pyschos existed since time began, but in modern history, these sorts of spree attacks are more common than they were 50 years ago- we were told that more Americans were gun owners 50 years ago as well

Actually there is no real data to support that conclusion.

In fact an argument could be made that since media exists on the scale that it does today crimes like this are simply more widely reported.

even allowing for social media and the internet, killings were obviously reported and recorded pre the 1990s-overall crime and murders are down compared with the 90s,80s, 70s etc, helped in a large part due to more severe criminal sentencing, death penalty usage, cctv, improved forensics, methodology as deterrent etc


However, even though crime and murder overall are down *due to issues mentioned there* spree killings have increased, or at best, stayed constant in the face of overall decrease in crime since the 1990s.

Sure, but again not nearly to the level that crimes are reported today. The news media was very different before the 70's, they did not cater as much to vicarious death fetishism.

I ask because what you present is pure conjecture.

With any luck he will never learn to enjoy taking it in the rear. Those prisoners are gonna turn him inside out and I hope it rips him in two.

He is one person that should never be released.

I'm glad he is in jail.

Its a pity corporal punishment is not carried out on this excuse for a human being. He should be tied to a post and lashed for his crimes every week. I dont see anything wrong with that. And if he had killed any of my relatives or friends with a smirk and attitude like that I would gladly do time for GBH. I'd be leaping across from my seat and giving him a good hiding myself.

Hopefully this sickko will be given justice from behind bars. I dont think anyone will miss him or mind in the least.

The judge should of had him taken out of court or had another shirt put over him,and when he started to act up just take him out of court. the judge let him disrespect the court and family and he had the authority to stop it.. So criminals have more rights then the rest of us it seems.
