There's a lot of talk here lately about the possibility of the Power Grid being shut off for a few days as damage control from the power of solar flares. I'm a long time lurker here but I've only started positing today after making this connection.

I'm not saying I believe the prophecy, especially not after the whole 21st December anti-climax but it could certainly coincide with the whole power grid shut-off theory. Think about it, 3 days of darkness might need some interpretation. Maybe it means 3 days without power as opposed to three days without sun. Sounds a lot more plausible to me. Anyway that's just my two cents.

Has there ever been three days of darkness in the history of earth ? I don't think there ever has been. and what object would be big enough to hide the sun from us ? the only thing I know that could hide the sun for three days would be ash from all the super volcanoes going off at once..... I just don't see it ever happening .

Maybe it means three days without power? Like I explained in the post above yours. Just a thought?

I just get the impression that all this continuing and repetitive doom mongering is a blatant example of one faction wanting to impose an agenda on others who don’t follow their belief system.

Its religion all over again…

I keep pointing this out also. It's all the same songs, just different genres. "Believe what I believe and you will ascend to a higher dimension (heaven). Don't believe and you are stuck in a lower dimension (hell)." That is religion pure and simple!!

Then again, if you’re just promoting an idea that, somehow, gets you all excited – but that you don’t really believe – and just want to talk about it and share the doom, then that would explain your annoyance at contrary views?

I have always found that true believers are calm and polite. It's the one's that have doubt in what they are saying (or are doom mongering/trolling) that get angry when challenged.

--------

I just can't believe we are expected to keep lolling along, shaking our heads in agreement every time someone sets a new date. This is now the third "the Maya said so" date. They have already been wrong twice before, why should we believe them now?

I've read and reread these papers, and I believe what the author is saying. We'll all know for sure in a couple of days if my faith in his work is unfounded or not. I'm thinking not, but I'll wait on the sun to sneeze at us before I'm sure

EDIT: This should be read prior to reading this post.

Post-Transition
After the transition is complete, the sun will be physically larger, brighter (more white than yellow) and hotter than before-and it is going to stay that way. One would think that this situation would make the inner planets go up like marshmallows burning on the campfire. But curiously, that is not the case. Seems that whoever designed stars and planets considered this, and used the energy of transition to aid in the further evolution of life. What will happen is that, due to the increased FTL motion in the sun, the gravitational balance of the solar system will change. FTL motion is anti-gravitational, so the sun will literally push the planets further outward in their orbits in compensation-the year will get longer. Being further from the sun, the planet will survive and establish a new ecosystem - but a different one.The changes in the sun will also produce changes in the planets, particularly the electro-magnetic alignment of the poles. As has been noted in geologic records, the north and south poles of the planets have been in various locations across the globe - not because the poles are moving, but because the crust of the planet is moving relative to the mantle and core. There is also a high degree of probability that the even will trigger a “core flare”, and expansion event of FTL matter in the core dropping to sublight speeds and causing the crust of the Earth to expand and open at tectonic boundaries, eventuating in more surface area and a drop in ocean levels as compensation. In my opinion, this solar transition is the “harvest” or “ascension” to a new state for life on Earth-not just man-all life on Earth. All the physical properties get “kicked up a notch,” as Emeril would say, commonly known as a “higher density” or a “higher dimension.”

And another thing I have a problem with is this Fifth Dimension stuff , where is it ? and why am I going to ascend there ? is this a real place or is it something that was made up by some new age hippy ?

Don't think our "scientists" may have misinterpreted the date a little bit? I just saw a movie this morning about Mayan elders talking about the true date for the shift being this month. And the movie is OLD, Check it out! I'm not asking anyone to believe as I do. Whatever happens, happens. It's my belief that we are ALL getting an evolutionary upgrade. Not because we tried hard enough, or spent countless hours meditating (although that may have helped some to not be so nervous about it all) but because we are alive at this point in time.

Aww, shucks…

It's all the same songs, just different genres. "Believe what I believe and you will ascend to a higher dimension (heaven). Don't believe and you are stuck in a lower dimension (hell)." That is religion pure and simple!!

And you are right; different tune, different piper.

The thing is, we all need something to believe in, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Believing is quite easy.

Critical thinking takes a little more effort.

I have always found that true believers are calm and polite. It's the one's that have doubt in what they are saying (or are doom mongering/trolling) that get angry when challenged.

If threads like this were presented in a matter-of-fact manner, backed up with solid, compelling evidence with an interesting dialogue, then even I might listen. (As it is, I join them to offer my opinion.)

If genuine conversation were encouraged by the postee, as opposed to a “if you don’t like it, leave” attitude, then these threads wouldn’t get pounced upon…

2012/2013… And after all, if those of us who chew before swallowing are wrong about this new doom-date, what real difference does it make?

I usually make fun of everything "end of the world" and doom and gloom, but i believe that something is coming.
I don't know if it's going to be tomorrow or the day after or in a month, but i can feel it.

Perhaps it's the dreams i see or i spend too much time here, but for the first time in my life i believe it.

Now you can make fun of me

When are we as a people going to learn that mocking another's opinion has absolutely nothing to do with having an opinion? It is not your opinion. it is you discrediting another's which is even worse than not having one.. or what eventually happens to us when we do not know how to think for ourselves.

That's a tough question, no doubt! I could try to answer it, but I think the better thing to do is to give you some stuff to look at. It's already been explained better than I can, so if you are willing to learn something as far outside of the box as you could think to go, then these links will help you.

The Spirit Science Videos
1st episode here
There are 22 episodes now, with topics ranging from sacred geometry, astral projection, mars, atlantis, the Dec 21st date, water, to name a few

I linked to it earlier but I'll do it again. HERE you can find a set of papers written by a former member of Black Ops, specifically the Montauk Project. He is very intelligent and his theories are sound. He talks about things like timelines, NWO, geoengineering, 4d and temporal physics, ETs/EDs There's a forum discussing said theories here

David Wilcock has spent over 20 years working out what the source field is, what it means for us, etc. This in combination with the links above will give you a decent understanding of the "dimensional/density shift" that's occurring. Here's an introduction to "The Source Field Investigations" Here's the link to his site

OR you can wait a couple days and see for yourself

Hopefully something here will help you out.

~Light, Love, and Peace be with you!~

I realise you weren’t addressing me, but if I may reply?

“Mocking” might be correct in some cases, but sometimes there is a lot of (unintentional) humour to be found in the subject matter of these threads, and it’s this form of absurdity that can be legitimately played upon by a genuinely questioning mind – and not just by “sceptics”.

It is not your opinion. it is you discrediting another's which is even worse than not having one.. or what eventually happens to us when we do not know how to think for ourselves.

My “opinion” is that some desire the end of all things, but some just desire to be recognised as “enlightened”.

Even when they are not (no accusations here, by the way.)

And as to “mocking”: see the OP’s other thread here:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Therein you may read of his insistence on CGI as proof of his claims and his desire to get it on with “hunky” aliens…

Who’s mocking who?

What in the hell are you talking about? This is the most ridiculous bunch of bull crap I have ever read. Be prepared to be disappointed when NONE of this happens.

I'm of the opinion that most of the "science" we were taught is wrong. As for it being bullcrap, read the papers. You may change your mind. It's a lot of different ideas that will almost literally tear your brain apart, but it's because it's so far from the conventional ideas we have today. I'm not trying to convince you, just sharing ideas from a guy who's done an impressive amount of research and personally, I think it deserves attention. I am reminded of the folks who used to think the world was flat and the sun was drug across the sky each day by a horse drawn chariot. To me, this is the first globe seen after only living in a 2d world of maps... if that makes any sense. If not, oh well.. chalk it up to me being nutters!!
Hope you have an awesome day!

Also, if nothing happens, I won't be disappointed. Everything that happens, does so for a reason. If the predictions don't come true, then my next project will be to figure out what the charade was for.

I had heard this also from a good source about a year and a half ago....problem is the vernal equinox started about an hour and a half ago and nothing is happening here (19 March 2013; 11:02 UTC)..... It is true tho that "light and dark" (daylight/nighttime) are balanced (equal) on the spring equinox.

There are 2 things that can hide the sun from the earth. one is a large space ship to engulf the earth, the other is the large portal near the sun. if you have watched the movie Contact, you will get it.

...an "impressive amount of research" does not make any of it even remotely true of even contain a glimmer of truth. The nut jobs that followed Haley Bopp comet probably did research as well. See where it got them?

It deserves as much attention as MAD magazine for its comic relief qualities.

Comparing modern day science to "the sun being drug across the sky by a horse drawn chariot" would be extremely ignorant on anyone's part.

.....now at this point...I expect to hear how "We don't know everything....and they are all lying to us.... and so on and so on and so on" because it is the only defense that you or anyone believing in this crap can use as a defense.

Believe what you want until you find out it is false and then I expect you to recant your beliefs because at that point, when they are proven false, it would be even more crazy to keep supporting them. I would/will recant mine when shown WITH PROOF that they are wrong. Opinions are not proof. Neither are conspiracy webs sights and alternative news groups or nut job inner circle research papers.
