Palin calls Obama a liar in speech to conservative activists, page 1

Sarah Palin, speaking at a conservative conference on Saturday, called President Barack Obama a liar and urged her party to stand by conservative values.

"Barack Obama promised the most transparent administration ever. Barack Obama, you lie," the former Alaska governor said in an address to the Conservative Political Action Conference near Washington.

Palin further took a swipe at Obama's gun control measures he is pushing through congress, including more background checks.

"More background checks? Dandy idea, Mr. President.

Should have started with yours," she said in a speech peppered with one-liners and folksy language.

Is it fair to say that Obama is a liar?

It certainly is fair to say that he, like 100% of politicians, is economical with the truth when it suits him.
