I have a feeling something will happen on Friday.

After hearing about what's currently brewing over in Asia my mind frantically starting jumping through all the possible outcomes, and reading some of the posts on here certainly didn't put my mind at ease. The most frightening being the possibility that this could all be a distraction to make the US (specifically D.C.) vulnerable to an attack. My fear only increased after I realized the new movie Olympus Has Fallen seems to portray just that, and guess who's responsible? That's right an Asian terrorist group. This coincidence is beyond strange in my opinion. Things get stranger still though because it seems Obama will be out of the country this week. Coincidence? Maybe it is maybe it isn't. I guess we'll find out when Friday comes around.

What exactly is brewing in Asia that's any different than what's always brewing over there?

Doesn't the fact that this movie was probably filmed 1-2 years ago and has been in pro-production sort of not really make it as much of a coincidence as you think?

I feel there's going to be some kind of attack on the United States whether it be by directly attacking our country or our president may be assassinated while he's out of the country, or worse yet both.

The thing that gets me about the movie trailer is that it's an Asian terrorist group. The cyber threats from China, America making threats against North Korea and China, the close relationship between China and North Korea, and the missiles that were just launched at Japan by North Korea all lead me to believe if a war breaks out between North Korea and Japan the United States will aid Japan seeing that North Korea is an enemy of ours.

On top of all that Obama is going to the Middle East this week. The problem with that is Israel recently made an arms deal with China, and based on what's going on in Asia China is one of our enemies right now. My fear is that because Obama will be overseas on March 22nd which happens to be the release date for the movie Olympus Has Fallen. The reason this is disturbing is because Israel one of our supposed allies recently made an arms deal with China one of our enemies. I fear that our president will be assassinated leaving our country off guard and open to an attack.

This is all speculation of course but stranger things have happened and I know I'm not the only one who fears a similar situation playing itself out.

I believe you have an imagination, you need to understand that your imagination can be scary. In fact, if you watch only horror movies or movies that stress you out, two outcomes can happen: you will believe the movies and be in a constant state of fear or you will learn to self sooth and be happy regardless of the gore and fright that beholds you.

How many movies or television show portray an Asian terrorist group attacking the United States?

Unfortunately the plot of this movie is nothing like a horror movie, because it could very well happen.

I haven't seen the movie itself yet...but the idea that outside attackers could take the White House on an otherwise uneventful day (Outside of war actually being waged already) is absurd. If they COULD..somehow..take the building, then by the time they took it, it would be an empty shell with no people, no data worth having anymore and likely ..air too toxic to breath (just a rumor on that last one..who knows these things for sure)

We know the East Wing has a deep bunker beneath it from direct accounts on 9/11 from civilians who were caught inside the White House when everything happened. It's all but part of the tour for there being a similar shelter under the West Wing in case The Boss happens to be in his office when TSHTF.

In addition to all this....there are tunnels running at least 3 directions I know of and I'd expect another connection to additional transportation somewhere below that. The Press Corps also reported something HUGE being built beneath the White House last year...and the fountain was removed clear out of the ground for a short period in relation to this. (They claim it's simple infrastructure maintenance).

So.. basically... I think you'd have better odds of taking Area 51 intact with a frontal assault right over the fill and across the flats.

There were no missils fired at Japan, they were fired at the Japanese sea, big difference

Big movies are allways reflecting the world as it is, they go for what we talk about, and fear most, not what will happen.

I know I shouldn't encourage any more fear in you, but I must remind you of the remake of Red Dawn.

NK uses EMP device to take down our defenses and along with Russia invades both coasts of the USA. Just released last year.

It's Hollywood playing on fears, as usual.

My suggestion to you is go read the NK threads. You will get a clear understanding on what's actually going on and many of your fears will not be based on run away speculation. You will however learn that China is not pleased with NK's behavior. Also to add, just this mornings news China and USA reaffirming trade agreements one dependant on the other. We and China have too much tied up in each other economically to bust it open over this. Granted fears are a healthy response to awakening, but as this site motto says "deny ignorance". So do your homework on this. On a personal note, I am concerned NK might not be blowing hot air, and "might" be able to get subs over to our west coast within range, or that their capabilities maybe be underestimated. The arms race as it were, is a changing so there's realigning happening, it is what it is and is what is meant to be whatever it is gonna be. Don't be chicken little running around with out your head even if it does blow up, think sensibly and calmly. If something does happen, what do you need to do to take care of your own until a new status quo is established? Think in those terms.....I not saying rambo prepping. But guidelines from our own gov says 72 hours preparedness, that gives them enough time to transport in support services or transport out as necessary. Don't fall for the doom porn! But become informed.

Just saw that movie last night, good one if I do say so. I've said it before the truth is often times stranger than fiction. A quote from someone whom can not recall at the moment.

Off topic: Watched Deep Impact last night, Very erieeeee.......From what I understand, there are threads being 404'd that were made recently, about the very same scenario.

Deep Impact was a good movie too. I think because it didnt have the rah rah everything is ok ending, made it more intense.

threats that are about an asteroid to hit the Atlantic coast this IMHO, i'd that it with a grain of salt. Supposedli on here. I even googled it, Ats came up with the threads on the the thing you click on to get on ATS, 3 pages are 404'd.
